    Hi, im NOOB

Shitty quality pics because I'm bored and I finally have the coilovers installed!! Haven't had a whole lot of time to play with the ride height but I'm very pleased with them
  6. I got the bc's courtesy of jpngarage.com and I love them! Very high quality and the bolt in top hats make for an easy installation. Highly recommend them

    Hi, im NOOB

I haven't yet because i haven't been able to drive it. Once i get the coils on i will get an alignment, see how everything is, and then move on from there

    Hi, im NOOB

As I sit here on new years eve all by myself i figure, why not visit ratsun! I have some updates to the ol girl since I've finally found time to work on her. Pictures should suffice! Got creative and made those and STICKERS  Got me some Wheel Vintiques Steelies. 15x10 all around with 205/50 NITTO's Found out the previous owner did the coilover DIY so i lowered the shaft collars and got her lowww Went too low and couldn't drive. the springs decompressed all the way when i lowered the shaft collars because i didn't use a spring compressor. Everything was rubbing, the front passenger damper is blown, and springs are squishy so i bit the bullet and got these bc's with bolt in camber top hats from jpngarage. I have the fronts getting welded on the strut tubes. When i get them back i will do the rears. Im in the process of doing my tail light panel and bezels black. Once those are done its on to the next project!

    Cut springs?

No disrespect but I've lived the low life for a while lol And i do understand the 280 is a very different car but i know what its like to drive a lowered car. So what i plan on doing is trim the perches, grind the welds, lower it and put the split collars under it to support it. ill get thicker oil for my dampers (20w motorcycle fork oil). Now for the stiffer spring how much do you suggest i cut off? If I'm thinking correct about 1 coil will give me another 100 lb/in??

    Cut springs?

I understand and thats why i made this post. I knew guys do it and i wanted to make sure i wouldn't cut too much and start to ruin things
