  1. Just tryed sanding everything down to have a better contact throughout all the grounds and still have the same result... i know its not the flasher because the hazards and rear turn signal works and so does the front so long as i dont turn on the parking or headlights.
  2. When just the parking lamps are on they operate just as they should(as parking lights)but if i turn on the signals they will remain as is no blinking at all.. the only time the front turn signals are operational is if the headlamps and parking lights are off..
  3. Hello i am having issues with my front turn signals which are located in my bumper. They work fine if my headlamps arent on, but as soon as i turn on my headlamps they only work as parking lights,my rear taillights work fine with no issue and the fronts work fine as well so long as my headlamps are off... ive changed the bulbs twice and still have the same issue.. please help..
  4. Are all guage clusters for the nissan hardbody interchangable From 87-92?! Can a nissan pathfinders cluster for those years work as well..
  5. can anyone tell me what bulb is called for on the instrument cluster in an 87 Nissan pickup
  6. Do you know what size bulbs are required for the cluster.?!
  7. What size bulbs are used in the guage cluster for MPH, fuel, temp etc... mine seems to be dimmed in certain parts of the cluster..is there a better bulb that can illuminate the guages better?!..any input would help..thank you..
  8. Its a 2 wheel drive...whats the best way to check the level of the transmission fluid?.. and would u happen to have any pics of the rear main seal on the motor of a z24?!.
  9. I have a leak in between my tranny and block and im not sure if its the tranny or the rear main seal leaking.. which would it most likely be..?..the leak occurs primarily when the truck is shut off after warmin up and it appears to be drops of oil not a steady stream..Would i have to pull the whole motor in order to change the rear main seal on my z24 motor if the seal is the problem?! Any pics of what the rear main seal looks like on the motor would be great..thank you..
  10. Hmmmmmm.weird..bcuz i am running doug thorley headers and i dnt see any sensor located on the exhaust side in that area by the #2 plug..and the only wires located by the intake behind the alternator is the green wire and the black wire..so are u saying that theres 2 sensors that need to be working in order for my dash temp guage to work?! Which would be that sensor by the #2 plug on exhaust side and the water temp wire?! Or do i just need the water temp guage wire to be hooked up to get a reading on the dash..could that black wire be a ground..?!
  11. Exactly...so i dnt think my thermostat is opening up then bcuz im not gettin much hot air with the heater on blast..and as far as the temperature sender.. i need that most importantly so that i can monitor whether or not i might be overheating.. so that means 1 of those 2 wires should give me a temp reading on the dash correct?!
  12. Its not electric...,however i am trying to use the stock wiring on the d21 to get this thermostat operational..there are 2 wires in my d21 a green and a black..i have the green hooked up to the adapter that came with my intake for the DCOE carbs from weber..and i just left the black wire unhooked..im not sure if i should ground it or not.. theres only 1 male on the adapter where the thermostat sits in ..so i was assuming it be for power so i spliced into the green wire and put a female on there and hooked them up...but when i warm up the truck the needle does not move on the temp guage and i am not gettin any hot air when i turn the heater on..
  13. Hello i am trying to figure out which is the power wire for the engine coolant temp sensor on an 87 nissan hardbody pickup..theres a black wire and a green wire can anyone tell me which is power and which is ground and do both of them need to be hooked up in order for the sensor to be operable ...any help would be appreciated..im running an aftermarket thermostat adapter because i am running dual weber DCOE carbs..and i really need my heater to work and i need this sensor to work in order to open the thermostat..
  14. No ..not at all..! And is the fill whole on the passenger or drivers side of the tranny?!
  15. How many quarts of oil go in to the tranny? because there was none when i put the tranny in due to me cleaning the tranny out when the motor was pulled to be rebuilt..so when i put it in i started by putting 3 and a half quarts to start and i fulled it through the top shifter whole..
