  1. So why are you on here asking questions?
  2. CLEAN! following as ill be doing this to my 720 soon!
  3. 3.4 5vz-fe for the win. MUCH better motor than the 3.0.
  4. How much do you like 620's and how much work do you want to do to it?
  5. Thats what she said...? Excited to see your projects Steve!

Battery is toast. Your voltage gauge says it all. Started at 12 volts and then it flashed 8.2 volts while cranking. Check for parasitic drains too. Battery quality has gone way south in the last few years. AGM's are great and all but your car can't quite charge it right so you can't expect the best life. Lead Aa
  7. Very good! I'm sure you know that pan will need to be modified to fit. You will need both a front sump and rear sump pan I believe. I know a lot of people have done this and seem to not have many issues but I have also heard of some people having oiling issues with the frankenstein pan as well. I went with the Frontier engine for this reason.
  8. Parts have started to arrive. This is what I have already in hand. - Kelford cams (260 duration 9.38mm lift) - Supertech dual valve springs and guide seals - Jim Wolfe adjustable cam gears - Eagle H beam rods I also need to convert the single top timing chain to the dual so I can use the adjustable cam gears (only made for the dual chain). I'm 90% sure all I need is the timing set-up from a pre-1998 240sx KA and I'm good to go. I'm almost done with porting and polishing the head and off to the machine shop it goes along with the block. I'll be using VQ follower buckets so that it's shim-less. Once I get the block back, the search for the right pistons and turbo is next. The intake side is pretty good from the factory but the exhaust has lots of room to play!
  9. There is also this thread with a ton of info.
  10. Sounds like a fun project! There are several people on here that have done that swap and theres a wealth of information. I'm currently in the middle of it myself. A couple important questions. 2wd or 4wd 720? Do you know if the KA came out of a car or a truck?
  11. Super clean! Honestly kind of looks like its been re-painted but I'm not really a paint guy so I don't really know! She's a beauty though! I love that the owner actually took the time to take a ton of important pics and really document the condition. Priceless if you are asking a lot. Drives me crazy to see someone asking a lot for a car with 2 low res pics from far away...
  12. Go with the truck KA24 not the 240. You have to modify the oil pan heavily and can easily run into oiling issues afterwards. Truck KA24 bolts right up to the transmission and clears the axle. Just have to slightly modify the engine mounts. There are several threads here that cover all of this. I'm currently doing this swap right now.
  13. Paid via PayPal! Plus a tip for being a total pain in the ass according to sir Aaron. Addy should be in the note on PayPal Thank you for taking this on and I appreciate you looking into a second form of payment! Photos of badges on vehicles coming soon!
  14. Sent you an email on 1/7/23. No response yet
