  1. Awesome! I am eager to see the progress on this one.
  2. Thanks for welcoming. Btw, what's the "OIC" mean? Other than that, I mostly work on vintage Japanese & European bikes. Lots of honda, kawasaki, Suzuki, yamaha, Triumph, BSA, Norton, Matchless, BMW, AJS, Ossa, Hodaka, Indian, & a few select Harley Davidsons. It's quite the shop to be at especially at a mere age of 27. It's always different with every bike!

  4. Hello, My name is Lance. I live in Minneapolis, MN & work as a motorcycle mechanic in Saint Paul, MN. I am new to the forums, I was referred here by my friend who's username is Dat280z. After about 10 years of dreaming, researching, hoping, and searching. I have finally found & purchased my very first Datsun 510 two door sedan. It's a 1970, with a Cannon intake manifold matched to a weber 45 DCOE Sidedraft. It has fully welded custom exhaust, as well a set of period original 13" American Racing "Libre" wheels. I found the car in Fergus Falls, MN. The previous owner brought here from San Diego back in 1994. Rebuilt the engine, clutch, & transmission. After moving to the Midwest & driving less than 1k miles. He stored the car away in a dry concrete floor storage facility for the next 18 years til about a week and a half ago. When I called him and bought it off him for the sum of $900. So far all I have done since getting the car back to my garage in the uptown area of Minneapolis is changed all the fluids, a water pump, thermostat, hoses, two tires, the fuel line, battery, and a headlight bulb. The 510 fired right up! More pictures below. Been a while since I have done any forum posting, so forgive me for the slow uploading. 1970 Datsun 510 by lance_ackerman, on Flickr
