  6. Thanks for the advice guys ! And sorry to seem that im not doing my research ! The way the 311 forum is setup is strange and i always overlook the Wiki Section ! will try harder next time !
  7. Im going to keep an eye out for a stock alternator and ask around the 311 forum ! By making jumpers you mean making a plug harness that will be the same as the stock one so i can just plug it in ?
  8. This is the rear; tommorow im going to finish pulling the bar, grind the rust down and get ready to paint  :w00t:
  9. I'm stripping my interior down and getting rid of all the surface rust so i can prime, repaint and then dynamat. My friend Datmo (Building the the L20 wagon) said that i shouldn't strip the sound deadner from under the driver and pass to sand down the surface rust, repaint and dynamat. He says that i should keep the stock deadner as it will prevent more moisture from going in or deterioting rust after i put in the new carpet. I think i should pull it off and sand, paint and dynamat. What do yall think ? This is how this section of the deadner looks, luckily its just surface
  10. I looked up some stuff online and what would i need for the zx alternator swap ? I found out those alternators work on almost all 4 cyclinders?
  11. This one sounds like the route im going ! Seems the easiest to do ! I ebayed the part number, went to "Applications" in the item information, searched the make (Chevy, Cadillac, etc.) at my local pick your part website car inventory and found an 74 Deville! On payday ill go to the JY and pick it up B) I'm gonna take the plug but should i take the belt aswell or is the one mentioned different? Thank you for the detailed link
  12. Ive looked up and down for a possible alternator swap for my 1600 roadster? I don't have an alternator at all so im looking to just swap out a whole new system and possibly get better amps for future mods possibly. Anyone know of any alternator swaps from a new car ? Something similiar to the way in which the 510 guys put saturn alternators in their cars? THANK YOU
