I am going to do a l20 really soon. Should be getting the motor this week and start working on it. So maybe about a month it will be in the car.

It's not really bogging it's more along the line of being hesitant when I get high in the rpms. I did a valve adjustment about a week and a half ago and it was perfectly fine after that. The problem didn't start tell Monday and I've been trying to figure it out since then.

So I got an update on my car. I was having issues with the bogging once it got to 4,000 rpms and I thought is was carb problems so I went and went through everything and checked the carbs out but couldn't find anything wrong, so I put it back together and it still bogged. I desided to check the spark plugs and I got to number 2 and it was all black and none of the others were. I did a compression check and found out number 2s compression was 60 and the rest were where they were suppose to be. Guess rings....

I know there not stock calipers. I can't remember which ones they are.

Two little holes on the driver side floor. That's the only rust that I have found on the car.

A vg swap won't be for a long time but I'm going to do an L20 soon. The car is some what stock besides the ground control coil overs and disk brakes up front. It also has a dog leg 5 speed which I love.

I'm going to stay away from the SR. VG seems more fun.

Ya once I got it on my lift I noticed everything wrong with the system.

Thank you. I was going for a mild port and cam in it with a new exhaust system because the one that is in it got put in very crappy and just about every weld leaks.

Hopefully because the L16 that is in my car now is really tired.

I should be getting one in a couple weeks. I know the block height diffrence and that you have to run the L16 oil pan and pick up but other than that I know it's just a drop in that can be done in two days.

Ok so here she is. For now I'm going to go with an L20. I want to go vg33 but that won't be for awhile.

Alright well sorry for being new and all but my car is a 71 2 door 510. I have basic upgrades like coil overs and rims. It has a L16 with dual side drafts. I would post pics but I'm using my cell phone. I should of been a lot more clear in my post. I was just wondering your guys thoughts on motor swaps.
