  1. Dear King Rat. I dont think you understand what I meant. Im not saying they got it wrong in 1970. In fact I love the way they did it in 1970... thats why I own 4 of them and 30 other Datsuns and Nissan. Thats why I ran a Nissan Dealership and its why I currently own a Nissan specialty shop. A Re-release to me means... Just like Mustang just did and Camaro just did and Challanger just did and Charger just did.... They brought all the Iconic cars back out with "20teen" styling. This is the new era for old cars. Its the way the industry is going right now. In fact... Nissan is behind the ball on this dont you agree? This has nothing to do with "making the tires fit". this has nothing at all to do with "making the tires fit". Anyone can bolt on big giant fender flairs. In fact... these flairs are only 2.5". thats only 2.0" over stock. But the car is 12" wider. All the lines of the car are changed in places most would never notice. There are style points taken from the new Z's. The car has nothing that nissan isn't doing now or hasn't done in the past. The design is Nissan all the way. Take it from someone who has sat in meetings with Kazutoshi Mizuno and talked design, engineering and cars... Im pretty sure I know what I am talking about. I Respect your opinion 100%. I just dont think you understood what I was trying to say. And If you did understand and you still feel that way then Im ok with it. For every car that gets cut up and changed 50% of people cry about it and 50% love it. Its the nature of the beast. You can't make everyone happy. Thanks for your time.
  2. I posted the Links wrong. Here are working ones. Sorry http://instagram.com/p/qLL85dsg-f/?modal=true https://www.facebook.com/pages/Phillips-Automotive-Performance-LLC/140144852696123?ref=hl
  3. A sneak peak at the new rear end design of the Dataun 240z wide body. It will be a full alloy body over a 4130 tube chassis. 100% hand made right down to the suspension. 1000hp AWD (Nissan power). The body is 12" wider in the rear. Every line on the car has been changed in some way. It's being built the way Nissan would do it if they Re-released the 240z in 2015. Check back for major updates. What you see is just being used to make a full size buck. All panels are made on our @baileigh_industrial power hammer and English wheel. http://instagram.com/p/qLL85dsg-f/?modal=true Follow the whole build here: https://www.facebook.com/pages/Phillips-Automotive-Performance-LLC/140144852696123?ref=hl
