Thanks for the input!
I was afraid that would. E the answer. :-/
I have plenty of spare parts, so it's not to big of a problem.
I'll have to check on my location. Thanks.
Ok, I'm building a trailer from a 620 frame and bed. I'm removing as much useless weight as possible.
My question is can I cut the rear axles off and remove the center diff?
I have already done this and am now noticing some slop or play at the wheel bearing.
I'm afraid my plan has failed. :-/
Where did you get your bearing and do you have a part#?
I ordered mine from Rock Auto and the machine shop said it was the wrong one, they then ordered the "correct" one, and sure enough it still is not right. They said when it is pressed on it freezes up.
Any thoughts??
Thanks
Thanks for the help!:)
The trans needs a new reverse switch, will a standard 4speed one work, or do u think I need a switch specifically for that transmission?
That build is great! That is exactly what I am planing. I'm still gathering parts. Do you have the measurements of what was cut off the bed and where?
Thanks!
Just got my 73 620 running today!:)
It has a 5 speed in it, which is cool.
I found out that reverse is in the 1st gear location.
And 1st is in the second gear location, and so on.
What trans is this?
Any thoughts?
Thanks.
