  1. Alright, my truck has a Weber which does not have the bcdd function so I will just cap that port. Everything should be in the right place now. Thanks for helping me tie up the loose ends in my engine bay.
  2. Alright I got that all hooked up I am still lost with regards to the number 2 Hose I referenced in the original post. I don't think my carb has the port that was pointed out, what is the component of the carb that port is going to?
  3. Carbon canister here correct?
  4. So I concluded that port 1 will be tee'd into a manifold vacuum line, and I think 3 can be plugged(Think it was used for a California emission option). So that leaves port 2 which comes up right in front of the temperature control sensor(TCS). It seams like maybe it would be for a temperature signal from the manifold instead of the air cleaner?
  5. Started piecing together the engine bay on the 79' Datsun I picked up a few weeks ago. I have got basically all the vacuum lines replaced and routed correctly but there are a few I am having trouble identifying what they are and where they go; any help would be very appreciated. As far as I can tell from the FSM the number 1 & 3 nipples are "manifold vacuum" and "vacuum switching valve for fuel cut & A.I.S. control switch" or " Carbon canister vacuum tube" I do not believe it is for the carbon canister because the vacuum reference for that is tee'd into the same vacuum line as the vacuum advance. As for number 2 it is either "Air inlet for A.B. valve" or "Air inlet for TCS" Right now the A.B. valve is tee'd into the carbon canister vent going to the intake manifold which leaves TCS, but I am not sure what TCS is.
  6. I called a glass shop and was quoted about $100. I don't think making two cuts on a "less reflective than normal" mirror is worth that. What I am looking for is a source, probably online, for the uncut plate that a glass shop would have. I have searched but found nothing.
  7. I was going to replace the cracked mirror glass in my 620 mirror and figured it would be really easy since it just a flat mirror. I called and auto shop and was told that this glass is special and reflects a "softer" Image which comes with a high price tag. Does anyone know if this glass is different than standard mirror plate and if so a source? Thanks
  8. Truck will be used as a light farm truck/daily driver, but I also want it to look nice not show quality at all but like time has been put in. I think for now I am going to focus on making the truck as mechanically sound as possible while exploring cab swap options for down the road. On an unrelated topic... I know this has been probably been answered but I am already sick of the mile of smog related hoses in the engine bay(Half of which have been disconnected). Can anyone confirm that you can pass smog with most the emissions stuff removed; location is oregon?
  9. Thanks. It is the EHL620 Cab-Chasis, has deep wheels with two tires on them in the rear, and the same or similar steel stake bed as shown below. I have not seem one image online of this setup; where many made?
  10. Hello everyone, picked up a 620 yesterday and after pressure washing all the moss off and cleaning the the inside I found some rough spots. Does this look like something that could be patched/removed or cab swap? Thanks
