  1. At least the paint on the 1200 is decent. Mine is shot! It would be awesome if it weren't but then I would feel badly about ratting it out :)
  2. Awesome! The bed will get wire wheeled, and maybe rhino liner or something. I want it functional. As for the rest..... I'd like it decent looking. Not perfect, but decent.
  3. Here: So you can see the primer, and the paint issues.
  4. So the 620 that I am still waiting to get my hands on, has a 931 paint code. The paint is pretty beat. It may come back with some buffing/compound, but there are several spots that have primer, and/or will need body work. The interior paint and door jambs is decent. I don't love the color, and don't want to go through a full-on color change. What color should I chose that would go ok with that mustardy yellow? Or do I just respray same color? It's never going to be a show truck. More of a rat rod to me, if that helps. What would you do?
  5. Super cool. Love the Opinel on the counter too!
  6. Turns out its a 72. You can see my 914 behind it. She needs work, but she's pretty solid, and all there, albeit a bit ratty :)
  7. I meant the bolt pattern - 6x5.5". Was looking online at some other wheels, and figured I'd ask. Found it pretty quickly. But thank you tho.
  8. Well that makes flushing the tank a much easier operation for sure! Also, the car has the 6-lug drum brakes. What is the pattern? I am looking at some larger steel wheels. What sizes should I be looking at to keep the rolling diameter the same? What will fit in the wells?
  9. .Thanks all, and I will check out Rock Auto. Not my first rodeo. I have a 73 Porsche 914, and 65 Volvo 122 Wagon, so the 620 will join this eclectic mix. I hope to have title next week. It's a long story, and once I have title in hand I will share. Suffice to say, the truck is solid, but shows battle scars from 40 years of service. Not sure it's been run in a long time, Interesting to note that the gas tank has a drain underneath. Is this expected? Thanks again for your insight and support. I will post pix when all is said and done. Thanks!
  10. Hi, Long story short, but I think I just got myself a '73 620. It hasn't run for many years. I plan to flush the fuel system, and see if it will start. It has 6-lug drums all-around. I assume I will need new master, and cylinders. Where can I get those? It's ratty and rusty, but I am very excited. Thanks in advance.
