  1. Did you have it aligned after putting in the shorter springs?. A 1.5" drop would change the toe angle quite a bit. It sounds like it was toed out too much if darting. I wouldn't think the castor change would be noticeable, but then I don't have experience with the 411. Stiffer springs will quicken up the steering but shouldn't be so much as to make you uncomfortable.
  2. I went through this about a year ago as my driver door tumbler was so worn it would not work . The only source I could find was on ebay. There were a few people selling them, so just check prices for the best deal. They came from Taiwan I belive and took about 3 weeks to get here. Decent quality and still working fine.
  3. If the D-50 springs are un-cut you will most likely have to un-bolt the half-shafts to get the springs out. Use box end wrenchs on the bolts after soaking with PB blaster. With the car out of gear you can keep turning the half-shafts to get better access to the bolts as you are removing them. Also, the E-brake needs to be disconnected at the rear wheels. I find the rear of the car has to be jacked up pretty high to get the control arm down far enough to get the spring out.
  4. I recently replaced my tie rod ends. My sleeves were in good shape so I just ordered the "MasterPro" ends from the local O'Reilly store. Even though the part numbers were correct, the left outer tie rod had the wrong thread direction. I ordered another which was exactly the same, so I returned them all and ordered a set of Moog tie rod ends from RockAuto. The Moog threads were correct and the parts looked just like the originals, whereas the ones from O'Reilly were slightly different lengths ftrom the originals.
