To what model and years you guys talk about the short tail and long tail? You guys talking about the actual body from the truck the 4hooks side bed (short tail) or the 5hooks side bed (long tail) or you guys talking the actual length of th tranny from head to toe measurement ?

Ok there's s guy going to part out his truck a 720 forgot what year it was but I'm going to get the rear leafsprings from his 4x4 720 truck. Do I need to remove and use the 720 shackles as well or I'm ok to use the stock shackles from my 1972 datsun 620 truck? All 720's 4x4 from all years( USA only ) comes with 4 leafs each side or 3 leafs?

What type of Miller Mig model do you use or have? The 170,180,200 or the 250? Reason I ask is because I need to do body rust repair work as well to my 69 510 and I want to buy a good model Miller mig welding machine to get the job done like yours.. what model would you consider?

Awesome ok since I have a 72 datsun 620 all stock suspension and height but I want to lower my baby 620 pretty low so what I need is a pair of any year 720 4x4 rear leafsprings (or what specific year I need to buy from the 720 4x4) only from 1983,1984 or must be 1985 and up? 2nd question its highly recommended to use the 720 shackles and ES/Energy Suspension bushings for the 720 shackles and the bolts as well from the 720 or there's no problem to use the shackles and bolts from the 620 and must be ES/ energy suspension bushings for 620 shackles if I'm going to use the shackles from my 620. If you can help me out with this questions I'll appreciate thanks man I'm a newbie I have my first datsun 620 and I don't want to fuck it up installing swapping the wrong parts.

I have a 1972 620 datsun. What year from the 720 4x4 pickup rear leafs springs will fit for my 620 truck. From what year to what year for the 720 I must find in order to lower my 620 truck thanks. Also shackles must be from the 720 and use it for the 620 or I can use the 620 shackles with the 720 rear leafs. What type of bushings should I get the anyone knows the part number ?

Hello Guys, thanks for the comments I was doing some research about others thinking or doing engine swaps. So basically I'm going to stay with the stock L16 that's in my car at this moment. Previous owner told me a little info about the engine conditions and I bought it as is. It was parked for years outside on the bushes in NC. A non running car, I felt in love in a second because I wanted to save it and its fully stock. I want to put pictures from my computer about my car but I think ratsun site banned or block my ip address? I'm trying to contact someone that can help me out with this problem to unblock me. I'm using my cellphone typing this. If any moderator can help me to unblock my IP or to explain me why I can't use my PC to log in? Is it because I'm from Florida? Hello everyone, I have a 69 datsun 510 and I'm doing some research for some most engine swaps for the 510's. Few are doing KA's and Sr's swaps and others v8's. Well I'm not looking for crazy horsepower. I'm happy for 250-300 hp and not hard to find parts here in the estates. I wonder if anybody here done a 2rz or 3rz 2.7L. Tacoma engine. What do you guys think about those engines will that fit for the 69 datsun 510 engine compartment 4dr. I'm also looking to turbocharge the 3RZ engine. I saw few 2rz/3rz engines making great power at the tracks. What do you guys think?

Sorry to bring this up, I'm having a problem. I recently not long ago I purchased a1969 datsun 510 4door and I can't find my car key, I look all over the place and nothing. Anyone can tell me what's the code or type of key blank to tell the locksmith guy. He has no info or blanks for my 69 datsun 510 4door. Any help guys or another type of key that will match and work for my 69 datsun 510. I remember when I purchased the car previous owner gave me 1 key and work for all doors, gas door and ignition. One key for all.
