  1. I just answered my own question. Delete this posts please.
  2. I'm looking for a dashboard for my z but I'm stuck in the middle here and I'm not sure which way to choose. I have an early 260z production date Nov.73 and I want to get a new dashboard to fix up. So should I be looking for a 240z dash or a 280z dash? I'm pretty sure they are not the same size.... Thanks for any advice.
  3. sweet cars! did you make the covers underneath your headlight buckets or did you buy them? they look awesome!
  4. Hi guys trying to do some brain storming on my latest issue. I have a 260z with an rb20det swap and an r200 diff LSD out of an 300zx turbo. I also have CV's (wolfcreek) to replace the old half shafts. Here's the issue... I get a loud clunk noise from my differential but it only happens on an up shift with the clutch fully engaged never on a down shift.... Any ideas are welcome. Thanks community.
  5. I think I'm supposed to use 80w-90 with the additive for lsd's
  6. hey guys i just swapped out my old r180 for a r200 lsd out of a 300zx turbo. what in your opinions is the oil i should be running in there. thanks for your in put.
  7. got some sweet 17" rotas....... then I did this...... FML....
  8. Yeah. Dumb question. Bushing is dead
  9. I jacked up my car for a half shaft replacement and noticed that there was a large gap between my moustache bars end bushing and the frame. Is this normal? Ideas? Pics coming.
  10. heres some more pics i took today. I peeled a bit of the tar layer off and its seems to be doing its job well. no rust at all underneath. that being said do you guys think I could go with por15 right over top of it and not remove the tar layer?
  11. Don't get me wrong I know how lucky I am on the minimal rust situation. I'm thinking of preservation for the future. What do you think would be the best way to remove the tar layer.
  12. there seems to be some kind of protective layer laid down in the floor pand there is rust around the rubber plugs it look s a bit thin i was thinking about removing the plugs and cutting the rusty circles out.
