Hey guys. New to this forum. Wanted to ask a couple questions about a 1975 Datsun 620 I scooped up a couple weeks back from the original owner. That's right... 1 owner w/ only 72k miles. It was a rare find and a lucky one at that. The truck is on ebay currently and I've got a guy telling me that the Truck does not have an EGR. I said it did in my ebay listing because it has a pod on the dash that says "EGR". The gentleman is telling me that Nissan did not have egr's until 1980 and that what I am looking at is a EGT warning light to indicate that the cat is getting too hot or something to that effect. Can you guys shed any light on what the pod is that reads "EGT". Also.... Same guy is telling me that this truck does not have factory A/C and is rather just a Aftermarket unit. I had put in my ebay ad that it had Factory A/C. It sure looks factory to me as the controls are molded into the dash very well and everything appears to be factory. Was A/C even an option back in 1975? Thanks in advance for any input fellas. I really wanted to keep this truck but it just isn't an option for me right now financially. I almost feel bad about buying it from this old man for what was paid, but it was the number he threw out there, and I couldn't get my wallet out fast enough.
