  1. I figured it out and would like to thank datsunmike as he had made it plain as day in another thread I found. Thanks again!!
  2. Basically I just need to glance at it properly done and I'm hoping it'll make sense again..
  3. I pulled my dash and threw it back together this week and I can't remember how it was hooked up.. Everything I've tried that looks obvious either doesn't work OR it'll come on without the switch being on
  4. can someone snap a picture of how they're fan switch and blower motor are hooked up? Or draw me a simple wire diagram? Ive been trying at it for too long now and I'm going crazy.. And whenever I try to pull up a diagram online, it's too small to read. Please help.. It's gonna be getting chilly soon..
  5. Tried searching but couldn't find anything on the topic. Found a carpet kit for a 1980 620 Should it work in my 78? It looks right but I just wanted to see if anyone had any insight I can't find a kit in a lower year.
  6. I'm getting a kit from a site called "Stock Interriors" for $98 I believe. For my 620 standard cab. They also had one for a KC. but joecool is right, buying a roll of carpet and cutting it yourself would be wayyyy cheaper. + I don't believe the site doesn't offer the backing unless you pay an extra $15
  7. Thanks for the heads up guys, I guess I just sorta jumped the gun. I went through that nightmare with my last truck which is why I sold it. so I got really nervious when I thought it was happening again. IMMANOOB
  8. GG it doesnt fit, too tall, or I wouldve just drilled new holes and put it. And Mike, no i dont have any clue what its for or year.. I tried being a tight ass looking for deals on ebay, found it, contacted the selller who assured me it would fit in a 78 620, and now I'm here.. hahaha so for all I know he didnt even know what he had. and I have a mystery radiator.. I wanted to see if that pattern sounded familar to anyone on the forum. It would be just a tad easier to sell..
  9. Excellent! I've been trying to brainstorming ideas that dont involve too many complicatioins because this is also my daily.. and that seemed right. Thanks for the heads up on the L series too because that was another option that I have available. So I wont go that route.

Will a Z engine and tranny fit in a 620?
  11. I have a 78 620 Went to add some oil today and noticed excessive air blowing out of the valve cover.. - Is there anything that is commonly found among 620s that have this issue? I know it's most likely bad rings, but I wanted to check.
  12. I bought a radiator for my 78' 620 and the mounting pattern is weird and offset. One side is about 12 1/2" or 1/4" I forgot. and the other side is 8 1/4" then it's about 20 1/4" across. Any idea what this may go to? I'm trying to sell it!!
  13. Hello, I have a 1978 620 standard cab/bed 4speed pickup that I've had since January this year. It's a very basic model. I don't drive it on the freeway because it seems to start howling at me around 45mph, but it wants to keep going.. Ive gone much faster in it, but not for very long becuase I thought it was gonna explode. There's no Tach so I'm not exactly sure what the RPMs are. I've heard they redline at 7000rpm? True? The owners manual says the rear diff ratio is 4.37. Is this normal for 620's or is this the lowest ratio out of all the options? I was going to swap the rear end but now I'm wondering if there's even a problem in the first place!!! What the hell is going on!? Where should I start!?
