1971tantruck

i need help with my 1971 truck will not start

took head off had service new coil new timing chain and gear new distributor will not start

it is a stock hitachi carb yes they are hard to get square this maybe the problem vacuum leak

ok i will work on that thank you for your help i need to go now i have to get up early for work

i live in Milwaukee Oregon i have to work tomorrow

the intake values will not adjust

i also put a new distrubuter on it

new gas first time on a datsun put one on a Plymouth all marks were lined up yes and yes

runs like carp sometimes right away sometimes slower in december it died then i change the timing chain and gear had truck for 6 years carb has gas in sight glass

carburetor has gas there is spark

truck starts and dies

truck starts sometimes runs for a minute then dies why

I have a 1971 datsun truck l16 I got the same problem sounds like time for a valve job`

why does the truck miss blackfire stalls

I took a head to them in the past and they did a good job. However, someone said they have a new manager and got ripped off. Thank you for your help, I appreciate it!
