  1. mine was doing something similar, on a 521 tho, and after I backed the brake light switch to let the pedal release farther went away... still likes to pull to the right but at least 1 problem taken care of.
  2. thanks for the heads up on that Tuscan, I do have stock fan
  3. sounds good man, and I figured I needed a 521 rad but due to the different motor wasn't sure if it was maybe changed before... should be here next week so I'll find out about the spacing, but I'll do some reading on it, I always try to see things ahead so I know how to tackle it
  4. thanks banzai, I ordered a new 3 core champion from jegs, was gonna do the ebay one but for a few bucks more I'm getting a piece of mind in case of returns or anything like that. I did a rad flush, covered the upper and ran water thru the top, and wasn't coming out of the bottom fast enough, so just ordered it
  5. hey ggzilla do u know if that part number work for 521's ?
  6. That supposed to keep a l20b cool right? I changed cap, t-stat, and upper hose already and still like to come up in temp after a 15-20 min ride on the highway, water pump, rad and fan are next on the list, fan checked out cause doesn't spin freely, and around town stays cooler so either rad or water pump to me... Timing seems to be about right, and carb is a little on the rich side. Kinda trying to cover my bases
  7. Since the truck has a newer motor, believe to be a 76 or so, but can't be sure, how do I know if the radiator was changed or I have a stock 521 rad. Upper hose driver side Lower on passenger and 90* turn Cap offset to the pass side. Kinda online with valve cover. Thanks Javier
  8. definitely a little stiff but I have some graphite to help the process
  9. the jam one only for now, it's a budget build, so I'm going slowly around the whole thing over and over... that's the mod phixius, worked great, I actually tapped into what look like a brown wire, not the red or blue.
  10. ordered em a few weeks ago, got here today, already installed. ohhh so nice to close the door and not hear that glass rattle lol can't wait to go for a little cruise, hopefully tomorrow night, and now I can also enjoy Pandora/iTunes from my phone with the phone jack mod to the stock radio. Thanks
  11. cool. thanks again ggzilla. is straight forwards like any other car ? Ive done the clutch in my foxbody mustang in a couple of hours, exhaust, driveshaft, shifter, starter. and 6 bolts, crossmember and tranny down, 6 pressure plate bolts, and back up.
  12. I wanna do a clutch but I don't know what disc to order cause I don't know which year flywheel I have....
  13. will do wayno, a friend of mine is looking for parts in PA thanks for the info guys
  14. rear shoes for most rears part #511 at auto parts store and 81 720 comes up with 511's and 571's the 511 is shorter than the ones on the truck
