  1. Does anybody know which kind of adhesive that will work to secure the hood skin back to the bracing. Mine has come apart and I would like to re attach it properly.
  2. Has anbody installs z car seats into a 620 king cab? Any pics or comments? I found three sets at a local pick and pull junk yard that are in decent shape, one set is in awesome shape. I might get them depending on feedback from the ratsun guys. I have stock buckets in it now but they need redone and are not very comfy.
  3. I weighed it today on the D.O.T. Scales and it came in at 2460 lb without me in it and 1/2 tank of fuel.
  4. No leafs removed in rear, there were no bump stops on this truck when I got it. So fun to drive this thing, my wife thinks I'm crazy.
  5. I could not find a color code on mine. I got the 4 inch blocks in and got it right where I want it. Timing was way off too. The previous owner said there was a wiring problem because none of the rear lights worked ( stop, turn, tail or backup. After taking it all apart and investigating a little, turns out when he plasti dipped it, he pulled all of the lens covers and bulbs and sprayed the truck and filled all of the bulb sockets and was not smart enough to figure it out. Oh well that's why I got such a good deal on it. I got all the lights working except for the left brake and left turns but I think I need a signal switch. More pics to come of the 4 inch blocks installed.
  6. My new 79, I've had it a week tomorrow. Going to put 4 inch blocks in the rear on Saturday to get it down lower and see if I like it. I put 2.5 in it now. In the blue picture.
  7. That is the plan, the styling and the lines on these things are just awesome.
  8. Dash is hammered, bucket seats are trash, no headliner, no interior cars whatsoever, no carpet but has factory rubber datsun floormats. it does have doorpanels though. I will get some pics of it tonight after work. Very excited about joining the minitruck club. My other project is a 69 Ford f100, 2wd, swb, lowered with a big block.
  9. Thanks, Plans so far are are to get it running a little better and to pick parts from local salvage yard for the interior. Yes that is plasti dip on the dog dishes and I am keeping them for now. Might swap a manual trans into it later, I found two good set ups at the salvage yard.
