  1. Got the driver side made today. Both just sitting in. Hopefully I'll get around to welding them in next week and making a trans tunnel
  2. Well I'm happy with the way this side turned out. Need to roll the bead before bending the edges to get a straighter line but it's getting covered with sound deadener anyways
  3. I'm thinking if I can get decent at these I can start making some if people are interested. I need to get a press or figure out my bead roller to see how to make the body mount
  4. Well finally started on the floor pans. Just need to roll a bead for strength and weld it in and the passenger side will be done
  5. You keep making new posts about the same topic... http://community.ratsun.net/topic/69392-help-with-my-j16-520-tranny-and-fuel-pump/page-2 http://community.ratsun.net/topic/69410-want-to-see-j16-fuel-pump/ ..it appears that it depends on what headers youre running will dictate which style pump you can run. A mechanical pump is going to pump no matter what as long as the "arm/lever" is in the right direction and getting pumped as the engine is running. Or try this: http://forums.nicoclub.com/l-series-fuel-pump-on-e1-t375572.html This has a thicker flange and looks like it might be worth a try.. http://www.ebay.com/itm/ENGINE-FUEL-MECHABUCAL-PUMP-FIT-FOR-NISSAN-510-STANZA-VIOLET-140J-160J-L16-L18-/262411060016?hash=item3d18eb0330:g:fh8AAOSwq5lTp8lK&vxp=mtr
  6. You can try this guy. Not sure if he's still making them or not. http://www.the510realm.com/viewtopic.php?t=17682 Also after a quick search I found a post with this guys information. The post was old so idk if the contact is still good but worth a try. "Try contacting Mark Grimsley (Arlington, VA area). He has been making both front and rear floor pan patch panels of 18ga. steel for 6, 8 or more years. He also makes rockers. Mark's email:rediron07@comcast.net and his number is 703-490-2032 "
  7. Yea I noticed that as well but the wires on the other side are the same color. I think I'm just going to go this route http://community.ratsun.net/topic/62071-510-headlight-relay-how-to-upgraderepair/
  8. There is no black wire. There's (2) Red Black, (2) Red Yellow, (1) Green Blue, (1) Black Red
  9. This white wire or there lack of is m.i.a. But that seems to be for the ignition.
  10. I swapped the switch with my 521 switch and still nothing. The black wire comes out from the plug at the regulator and grounds and then continues on to the running lights/blinkers.
  11. no, the hi and lo lamps are in the correct positon and all have 12v to them on or off. I just have to track down the grounds. The lights come on when I connect a ground to a terminal on the light. There is quite a few cut wires in the bay and under the dash that i need to test and find homes for or eliminate. Ok so if I understand the information here (which is a long shot :poke: )... the RB wire connects to the RY wire and that goes to the switch and that is the ground? There should be a ground wire under the dash that connects to the headlamp switch that grounds the RY wire when the switch is pulled on?
  12. Yes it's a '71 510 goon. I do have a 521 as well.
  13. Did this already, all the prongs show 12v whether switched on or off
  14. The headlights never worked since I got it. I can ground a wire and connect it to the lights and they come on. All the fuses have power in and out.
