Hello friends, can someone confirm I’m installing ‘72 510 control arms with stock bushings correctly? I’ve got the thick stepped washer on the crossmember side and the special notched washer and a nylock on the outside. My manual has the torque at 94lbs, am I missing anything?

Ok that makes sense, I saw the ground symbol on the wiring diagram so I wanted to be sure. Do you know if the fuel gauge should work while ignition is in “on” position or does the car need to be running? Thanks again!

Last year at Canby I spoke with someone at their used parts booth about a set of rear control arms for a ‘72 2-door 510, as mine are rusting out 🤭 Unfortunately I didn’t follow up before the show was over and I cant remember the gentleman’s name. If that was you or you have a set of control arms you can bring to this new show, I’d really appreciate it! Can’t wait for June!

It’s not raining! A couple questions from a Canby virgin: When is a good time to get there Saturday morning to see the show? If I’m driving a Datsun, but not in the show, is there a good place to park, or just the main parking lot? Can’t wait to get there!

Let me try again with pictures :thumbup: 4-door 510s have chrome trim going all the way along the bottom of the windows: 2 door 510s have chrome trim just along the door: Question is: what are people using to put chrome trim here?: Thank you!

I'm wondering what people have done for 2-door 1/4 window lower trim? 4-door 510s have the chrome trim at the top of each door but most 2-doors (Not Coupes) I've seen, still have the trim above the doors but not along the lower part of the 1/4 window. Anyone have any ideas of what to use here? I don't think I would want to cut up a 4-door's back door trim ... Thanks!
