  1. I have seen the knock off Libres, not bad. I am looking for Magnesium Libres because they look old and have plenty of Patina, Just my preference, Thats all. I have a set of Aluminum Libres on my 1200 right now 13x5 front 13x7 back. Which looks period correct, except for the rack. And yes,a lot of people have warned me about running Magnesium wheels. Prone to catch fire, crack, etc. etc. Im not sure about that. Because I have run a set of Magnesium Empis on my 1200 for about a year, and I never had a problem with them.
  2. American Racing made a few of there wheels in Magnesium.for the 4 lug cars. 1. The Libre 2. The Lemans 3. The Silverstone (eight spokes) Empi also made a Magnesium wheel for the Datsun. It was also an eight spoke.
  3. I am in Washington State, looking for a set of Magnesium Libres
  4. I am looking for a set of 13 inch Magnesium Libre Wheels. If your looking to sell or have a lead on a set of Magnesium Libres, please leave a # and I will call you.
  5. Hey Everybody, Newbie here. I do own a 72 Datsun 1200, had it for a while. It is mostly all stock, except for the Libre Wheels 13 x 5 in the front and 13 x 7 in the back. I also made the custom rack for it it is made from 3/4 inch square steel tubing. With Cherry wood slats. I thought I would try something different. Anyways, I would eventually like to lower it. And maybee put some 14 inch wheels on it. * * * *
