  1. This is the connector for the wires. The toggle switch may not be factory but the wires are. The connector is located under center console. The connections for the hazards, defrost, seatbelt and fuel light are accounted for.
  2. In my my 81 280zxt I had issues in the summer where the fuel pump would overheat and kill the engine. I would have to sit beside the road for 20min or so. Then it would start up just fine. I would have close to the same symptoms you are having except that I had efi.
  3. Its not pretty yet but I will get it there one day.
  4. My first car was a 1986 Toyota Celica GTS. I worked and saved all my money when is as 15. Bought the car for $1500 from a junk yard. I drove it for about a year and it spun a main bearing and ended up selling it.
  5. +1 on the aircraft stripper. Make sure you have some good gloves, paint brush, and something to scrape/brush the paint off with. Also it works better when temp is at least above 75 deg. I worked at a media blasting shop and we blasted a lot of NASCAR teams car and equipment. The pit box and fuel cans had to be powder coated every year.
  6. Just picked it up a few weeks ago. Going to be my DD/Project car.
  7. I live in Duncan SC between Greenville and Spartanburg SC.
  8. Top gear UK would have to be the trip to South America. Roadkill I would have to say all 3 Alaska trip episodes.
  9. I was 25 and it was a 81 280zxt that I picked up for $500. I drove it for a about a year and a half and sold it for $900 after the 3 speed automatic went out on me. Wish I still had the car. Would love to put the engine in my 77 280z.
  10. This is a pic of the toggel switch. I made a mistake the wires are blue instead of green.
  11. The rear defogger and hazard switch are accounted for. Will take a pic and try to figure out how to post it tomorrow.
  12. I just bought a 1977 280z. I removed the center console to attach the new shifter boot to the console. Well under the console I found a old factory looking toggle switch that had 3 positions. The wires were green. One was solid and the other 2 were green with a stripe. While I had it apart interlaced the switch and installed it into the console but can figure out what it goes to. So far it doesn't seem to do anything. Anyone know the switch I'm talking about?
