  1. Any updates on your 910? Haven't seen anything in a while. And is yours or any of the 910s on this forum coming to JCCS 2015? Registration is still open as of tonight, but I don't expect it to remain so for much longer...
  2. Is anyone bringing their 910s to JCCS on the 27th?
  3. Alchemist, Thanks. It turns out I don't have much choice. I talked to Addco and they said that the 810 front bar is 1" less eye-to-eye than the Maxima bar, so it won't fit. So my choices are stock, 1 1/8", or $$$ custom for the front bar. I will try the rear bar first.
  4. Alchemist, Thanks for the info. How does your car handle on high-speed sweepers? like 85+ MPH? I did the Addco front and rear bars on my old Datsun 610, and while it cornered flat, it understeered so much I went back to the stock front bar. I think I'll try to see if the 810 Addco bar is available or will fit. I measured stock front and rear bars on the my Maxima at 0.9" and 0.7", so going to front Addco 810 bar (1") and rear Maxima bar (0.875") should be a decent upgrade and decrease the understeer. It might not flatten things out enough to be right for my 205/50-17 tires though, so I might be forced to go up to the Addco Maxima bar and a custom rear bar.
  5. Alchemist, I'm looking to put stiffer sway bars on my '84 and am looking at the Addco kit. If that's what you used on your car, how was the install? I see a lot of extra parts (u-bolts, etc.) on the site link you gave in an earlier post, and am wondering how it fit vs. stock. Does it use the same mount points for the frame bushings and everything else? I could also have custom ones made (at $450 for each bar), but that's more than 2x the price of the Addco set. The 1 1/8" Addco Maxima front bar seems a bit extreme. If you used that, how is the front/rear balance in the curves? I see Addco lists a 1" 810 front bar. I'm wondering if that will fit. Thanks, Ray
  6. Captain, Sorry for the delay. I finally visited my storage unit and found the console insert and rubber trim. There is a bit of discoloration on the insert that didn't seem to want to wash off. Anything else you need? I have a set of M30 upper seatbelt bolt covers. They snap right on the stock Max hangers and are just a darker shade of gray. Ray
  7. I can help you with the insert. The rubber trim is just a matter of finding it in my storage.
  8. Captain, nice job on the center console. Do you have the rubber boot/trim or whatever it is called for the parking brake slot?
  9. The 350HP (or whatever it is yours will put out) turbo part. I hope you bring it to JCCS this year. Last year mine were the only Maximas in the show, and they're just clean, not exceptional or particularly interesting. The year before there were none.
  10. Where did you find the center console? Or is yours one of the few that has a good one? Last time I saw a clean 910 in the junkyard, someone had wrecked the center console getting to some other part...
  11. Thanks. I'm interested to see the outcome of your project. It's something I've wanted to do but never gotten around to...
  12. The Maxima FM radio assembly is secured by two screws which are hidden by the lower edge of the heater panel. Remove the heater/air control/fan lever knobs, then pry off the heater panel from the bottom. Remove the two hidden screws, then slide out the whole FM radio assembly (radio, front panel, panel lights, top/bottom mounting plates) out as a unit. Are you trying to install a modern head unit?
