  1. i like number two! mostly because i like saying "i like number two!", but also because it is symetrical and i've never been too partial to directional wheels.
  2. i just about got t-boned at an intersection by a meth head in a beat ass mazda glc. the only satisfaction i would of gotten out of that situation would of been the public execution of a waste of skin. i lost a buttload of money on my '88 GSXR 1100 when it got wrecked. that's when i learned that you don't get what a vehicle is worth to you or what you've put into it from insurance. you pretty much need to fake an injury and sue to break even.
  3. i've gotten out of three speeding tickets when the officer didn't show for court. the only problem is that if you don't prepay pay the ticket and it goes to court. you get court fees added on if the cop does show. its still cheaper in the long run considering increased insurance and such. back when i was going to school in sacramento i had a suzuki gsxr 1100. my friends and i hung out at the carl's jr. on sunrise and greenback. we would get loitering tickets all most every weekend. most of the guys would just pay them but, just by showing up at court with a food receipt (that i usuall dug out of the trash) i got out of every one of them.
  4. i had the worm gear snap off of the shaft once. that was exciting! about one third of the factory weld was a void. i guess i got lucky getting my pitman arm off. i just took off the bolt, smacked the side with a hammer, and it fell right off. i thought i'd have to go crazy on it with gear puller and a balljoint fork. when i put everything back to gether, i replaced the bushing under the signal selector with a sealed bearing. it really made it easier to crank the wheel around. i know what you're thinking, "what a wuss!" but i have a 13" grant steering wheel and 31" tires. kind of makes for a good work out. especially when i'm off road. don't be afraid to take the steering box apart though. its not as complicated as one might think.
  5. hell ya. i'm usually not real big on stickers, but i'd sport that any day. the wrenches in it's mouth could be good if it was clear enough to still tell what shit is. would wrenches in the head be more appropriate?

    521 tachometer

even if you couldn't find a working clock, the pod for one would look sweet with an aftermarket tach in it. i bought my 620 clock for the clear cone lense. after messing around a bit i got the clock to actually work. you wouldn't believe how loud the motor and clock works are. i figuire that i'll wait 'till it dies before i put in a tach.
  8. full fledged members? (sorry i just had a Bevis and Butthead flashback.)
  9. i drove last time i broke my leg. it was even the right one. its all about the heal-toe action and e-brake. unless its your femur then getting in the seat could be a bitch.
  10. yes, i dido what shaggs said. i love the next thread and forum jump features.
  11. i threw a faulty voltage regulator at the front window of a big A auto parts one time. we don't do returns on electrical parts my ass.
