  1. Trying to figure out how to take pics from my email to post on the site....

  2. Well tomorrow i will have pix of the motor I paid $299 from b and r wrecking shipped from oregon.... $150 to ship to me in Indiana. $450 total.... Its an Ebay motor, and on the site they said compression was atleast 160 each cylinder . The shop I deal with is a friend of the family thats why the labor cost is so low.... Want to have her ready by the spring time, my datsun is currently garaged.... it is Indiana after all... will try to add a few pics from this last summer. Thanx for the advice and comments fellow datsun enthusiasts.... I dont have actual engine hoist and all the tools and knowledge... so i am gonna pay ..... I have changed the starter and alternator and the belt.... easy stuff, but when it gets down to pulling out the distributor and finding TDC when installing it and making everything go smoothely in an A14,,, I will save my self the headaches.....
  3. I currently have my 81 Datsun 210 Deluxe wagon with the A15 motor 5spd from California, It was taken cared of pretty good 210,000 miles.... Time to replace the engine... I recently acquired an A14 out of a 310 off of ebay... should i just plop the A14 from the salvage yard in there.... Got a quote from a shop that labor would be $350. does this sound reasonable, The A15 motor currently in it has worn out piston rings, I recently replaced the head at a shop within a year ago, so its no burnt valve. Any ideas to do to the A14 I have before taking it to the shop, Any comments would be apppreciated... I live in Indiana, so everyone loves the car cause its not a rust bucket, Am I correct in thinking that since the blocks are the same they can take my crankshaft and install it onto the A14, hence making it still an A15... or will it just not work like that.... Ideas... anyone?
