  1. Wow that throttle piece is nice. I almost had to make one. Things weren't working out with the OG one at first. Then I made a bracket that made it work. Whats the other end look like?
  2. The tires in the last photo were what came on the wheels when I bought them. They were a little small. I have since put new larger tires on.
  3. And finally some assembled photos IMG_3719 by Joe Hill, on Flickr IMG_3784 by Joe Hill, on Flickr IMG_4205 by Joe Hill, on Flickr IMG_4210 by Joe Hill, on Flickr IMG_4212 by Joe Hill, on Flickr IMG_4278 by Joe Hill, on Flickr IMG_4282 by Joe Hill, on Flickr And finally the actual wheels I'm running. SSR Dori Dori IMG_4478 by Joe Hill, on Flickr IMG_4474 by Joe Hill, on Flickr Maybe the only Z with these wheels? Anyone know if there is anyone else with them? So you are caught up. I didn't take a lot of photos. I was building this Z a 510 for a buddy that has all the same amount of work as this z. I used the exact same process for his car. and packing all my shit to move to Texas. So I will start taking new photos and update progress. Right now I think I finally have all the body electrical working. Cant test the micro squirt, EDIS yet.

  8. No Ray not done yet. Yes lets move this to projects! Thanks granny knot. I actually finally figured everything out. I don't have the OG ignition anymore so I did not have anything to look at. I finally found the FSM. Not sure why I did not have it before. Im using the DZ push button start. And for some reason it is not sending out any 12V on the green/ white wire and Black/ white wire. I figured out a work around and now my turn signals work.

  10. So I started this car May of 2018, and was working on it till June 2019. I have since then moved from CA to TX. I'm now ready to get back to finishing this Z. I'm in the middle of wiring this cal and have run into a problem with the turn signals. I have every wire counted for except 2 wires coming from the dash harness. One is black and has a male spade and the other is a red (18 gauge I think) with a female connector. The red is a constant 12V and seems to power several fuses on the fuse block. The black does not seem to be a ground wire but it tones out to another black wire on the drivers side and that wire is also black with a female bullet connector. I have eliminated a few of the original items and I have checked a few different wiring diagrams but I cannot figure out where these go. As far as the turn signal switch is concerned I have headlights, tail lights, hazards, but no turn. If u look at the assembly it is 2 halves and the side with the headlight switch has power and none of the wires on the turn signal side has power. I can't help but think the red wire needs to power the turn signal side some how but there is no where to connect it. In these pics I am showing the original harness as I took it out. Then installed after I did a few mods to it and rewrapped it. IMG_4067 by Joe Hill, on Flickr In this photo the black alligator clip is attached to the red wire Im asking about IMG_0974 2 by Joe Hill, on Flickr In this photo the black alligator clip is attached to the unknown black wire and it seems to me connected or is the same wire as the red alligator clip. IMG_0976 by Joe Hill, on Flickr Please HELP. I need to know where these go. I should mention that despite my modifications all wires are still factory and in most cases I left everything I did not use just taped away so I can not get confused.
  11. Hello Everyone! Ive been gone for a bit, but working hard. I'm trying to get the 521 running and having some problems getting the motor running. S13 KA24DE with manual ecu ::::::::::::: msd 2225 fuel pump I started following an old diagram that didn't work. After reading everything I could find online I'm more confused now then when I started. So far I have tested the following: Dizzy has spark Injectors have power confirmed with NOID TPS has normal functions based on testing I found online MaFF has power to it Fuel rail is getting gas I have just found the updated diagram on this forum and wired canam box accordingly, but fuel pump relay not working properly. I have a few questions about this new diagram. 1. What is going on int the areas I circled in red? It looks like a wire going from 86 to 30 to me, but not sure how to hook that up. 2. 46 & 109 look like they go directly to 30 but is also listed as going to ecu bup (currently I have these 2 only going to ecu bup). 3. What is the ground at the bottom of the diagram? 4. What happened to the O2 sensor wire that was originally in the first diagram? Here is how my canam box is wired. Don't look at all my red wires!!! They are labeled! Anyone see anything wrong with my wiring? Also is a fuel pressure regulator required?
  12. I was thinking about teaching u how to become a pro welder on Tuesday. Don't even think about those auto set settings. I will never respect u if u do! That's pier pressure for u.
  13. To give u an idea of how it started out... I don't have pics of it before I did all the metal work but u can see how much I replaced.
