  1. Ok so it's been awhile since I last posted but here is where I am so far.... Got motor in the truck and wired up.. Had a bit of trouble with the wiring but we got it figured out and the truck starts.. Things still needed to be done: Botton up wiring Rhino line the floors Mount seats Decide if imma use stock dash or build a dash (since truck has no heat or air) Lower the truck to the hight I want it at Find over fenders that will work with the body shape (any ideas let me know) Fix rust on the bed (or buy a bed with no rust) Paint the truck Matt black... Wiped off half the truck (the black is 5 months of tree sap and whatever eles stuck to it)
  2. Ok haven't posted in awhile bc of work but I'm still making progress on my truck Got motor mount made Painted bay Got motor in truck Pulled dash to start cutting wiring
  3. Did you get your motor into ya 720???
  4. Ok guys here's what I got done yesterday.. More cab prep for rhino line, hope to have it sprayed Tuesday or wednesday.. Got the engine built - all but valve cover and oil pan... Bare block and my 720 Crank is in and torqued Now for those shiny new pistons After that we sprayed the engine to make it look new.. Turned out nice Head on and torqued Cam and rockers How it sits for now until I can get a intake manifold, water pump and thermostat
  5. Thanks.. First time build thread writer.. But will be posting pics along the entire build
  6. This here is my little datsun.. Bought it about 6 months ago from some guy that didn't want it any more.. It was just sitting behind his house wasting away soo I got it for cheap... Drove it home thinking it had a blown head gasket.. Bought a gasket kit, pulled the head and there was a lot more damage then expected.. Soo I did some research and plan on ka24e swapping it! Bought a 90 HB donor truck.. Pulled motor and rebuilding it.. Plans: *ka24e swap (rebuilt, bored .20, rebuilt head, polished crank, new pistons) *stage 2 clutch *clean engine bay up some (mild shave) *rhino line floor in truck *put 2 race seats in truck (had laying around) *lower truck 2-4" *fix body/rust damage *flat black paint with over fenders *tint windows * DRIVE THE HELL OUTTA IT!!! Ok now to the pics... (Sorry in advance if they are big kinda new at this) Donor truck Donor truck motor that 4th piston was froze up in Pulling sound deadening up (prep for rhino line) More cab prep Motor is back from shop.. That's all I got for now I will continue to post pics. of my Garage Build.. Any comments welcome.. Thanks for looking
