  1. well never mind lol i found out it is imsa 3 piece spoiler.
  2. hey guys i have this wing on my z that i dont know about and was wondering if anyone knows something about it, the only ones i have seen r on google images and r pace cars and race cars.
  3. hey i would like to thank everyone for their help i think i have found out the main prob it was the AFM the weight balance thing that moves under the cover was broke off and causing it too not be able for the flap to move freely, now it sounds so much better and no black smoke and the plugs have cleaned all up. But cylinder num 1 plug was a little damp not sure why?. anyways thanks again. R.I.P. PAUL WALKER FAST AND FURIOUS FOREVER!!!!!
  4. i just took the cap off the AFM and the metal wight like thing that is on the moving part was broken off.
  5. i dont think so i dont know what it would look like lol. but there is two white bullet female connectors right at the end of the wire harness dont know what for. also i did the harness check for resistance and voltage everything worked but the first to tests witch r idle throttle switch showed nothing as well as full throttle switch and cold start system circuit. it says after u disconnected the starter solinoid connect volt meter to pin 21 and a ground and turn the key to start and hold it and it should read little to no voltage witch it did and after no more then 15 secs it should read battery volts and i held it for more than 30 secs and it never showed battery volts. ? what to do next also i have a extra ecu should i try that too. Thanks.
  6. hey i cleaned the AFM the best that i could but it still gets stuck sometimes, its like rubbing on the side. also when the car is running if i push the plastic cover of the AFM in the rpm goes up like im unsticking it from the side. And to the Q about the dropping resistor i do have one, and what props can it cause. and im in the middle of looking at the fuel injection manual. Thanks.
  7. ok is there any corect way to clean the AFM o i dont mess anything up THANKS AGAIN p.s. sorry for some stupid questions just trying to be sure with things so i dont screw it up more.
  8. the paper clip did not change anything. and the fuel is good and no juck it the lines. starting to lose my mind lol. ive unpluged the csv no change, AR no change TTS no change and WTS bairly runs at all. If the AFM is sticky will it cause it to run real rich and misfire. Also all the plugs r black and a couple are wet with gas too. but i get real strong spark. thanks.
  9. ok yeah i unpluged the thermotime and there was no difference in the way it was running but yeah the AFM is pretty sticky i had to push it with my finger to move it. but how should i go about cleaning it. thanks again.
  10. thanks guys but not sure what a dropping resistor ceramic deal is. it is fuel injected, and it is mainly white smoke at idle and black when reved. there what some gas in the oil when i got it as well but think it just got mixed in because its not firing all the cylinders or to much fuel getting in. also about the AFM i had taken it out yesterday to see if it was dirty and it looked pretty clean but the flap was a bit sticky and would not move freely i did not know if it was supposed to be that way or not. Then i put it back in and it started running high idle around 2000rpm and would not go down so i took the AFM off again and messed with the flap again and then it was back to 800rpm, so do u think it is the AFM cause the flap is a bit sticky. also the car was sitting for a couple of years before i got it last week. And lastly does anyone know what the resistance is for the thermotime switch, temperature sensor, air regulator, and accelarated start is. cold start reads 4.8, air regulator is 2.4 and thermotime shows nothing. THANKS AGAIN keep the answers coming cant wait for it to be fixed lol.
  11. Hey guys im new to ratsun and i need of soom answers. I have a 76 280z and recently got it started and it ides where it it needs to but it runs rich and sounds like it is not running on all cylinders. It studders a bit when i rev it and blows black smoke when reved and white as it idles as well. I cleaned all the injector type conections already and replaced the rubber on injectors. and replaced spark plugs and wires, new oil and filter as well. checked the comprestion too 145 to 150 on all cylinders. spark is good but spark plugs are black already after a couple of starts. car starts right away and stays running but just runs to rich. and cant figure it out. And what should the resistance be for the thermotime and fuel mix be. thanks really need to get this fixed.
