I have a 71 Datsun 1200 deluxe sedan. I am trying to do an rb20 swap so I don't need the motor. All it needs is spark plugs, wires, distributor cap and coil, and a new air filter. Transmission comes with it. I wish to get 1300, but I can go only as low as 800

I just got a 71 today. I want to do a quick swap. Want something more powerful than the a series motor. Which should I go for. Should I go rotary rx7 motor? Sr 20? Ka24?

I'm looking to go pretty crazy on it in the next few months. Could I put an sr20 in it eventually?

just got a datsun 210 1971. motor isnt running. basically want to know what motors are compatible to swap (with trannys and such ) first ever project.
