  1. I know there are a lot of similarities between the MG motors andbthe datsun J series. Do the rockers, pushrods, lifters, valves and valve springs interchange. Also if no one knows is there any information of vslve sizes, pushrod sizes, spring weights and bind rates and whaylt not?
  2. The bre spook air dam like on the old bre 510 race cars.
  3. I'm debating about getting one but I'm not sure about the fit and appearance.
  4. So I am already buying stuff I don't need. A weber 45 DCOE mounted to a cannon 801 manifold. Now I just need a header.
  5. According to my service manual advance starts at 450 rpm but idle is set at 600 rpm. Honestly just having a heavier spring and advancing a lite more past the where the points click would make the mid range and upper rpm's pretty decent without losing low rpm.
  6. I can advance it myself which ive done but I want a distributor that will advance more through the rpm range. Right now im using middle grade fuel with no issue. Just judging off the advance im running with 87 octane I could have 10:1 compression at this altitude with no detonation.
  7. I've been working on cars since I could climb my way into an engine bay and the one thing I've seen always work to find a couple of extra hp is to get maximum advance without detonation. Are there any distributors thatare interchangeable with the j13 distributor that offer more than 11°-15° of advance maybe along the lines of 20°. I do not want to be extreme with it because I like using cheap gas.
  8. An L series should be pretty simple and cheap. There isn't much going on in the sensor department woth a l series.
  9. That's my buddies 61 all original 40hp matching number beetle.
  10. The floor boards and door jams are white so I figured the bre scheme wouldn't be completely out of the ballpark.
  11. As for paint scheme I might end up doing some bre colors. Something like this.
