  1. Hey y'all, I'm looking to make some engine bay stickers for my sons pickup. We have found a few for sale and bought those but there's a couple we cant locate so I'm gonna reproduce them. I have been able to track down reference pics for most of them. We cant seem to locate a pic of the curved sticker on top of the air cleaner. Does anyone have one that's readable that wouldn't mind snapping a pic for me? Thanks so much!
  2. Only 1 pic this time but its a decent one. Got the holes in the doors and the bed filled. And the replacement valance put on. Hung the fenders just to remind myself what it looks like!
  3. Thanks guys. Its slow going.....but one day itll be ready.
  4. Little late on the pics....
  5. Finally made some progress. Figured id give a small update. I bought a parts truck that i thought id use the cab from. Upon further review...more work than mine. So i patched up the rust in the floor pan and got a friend to help get the waves out of the roof. I did score a pretty solid upper valance so i got myself a spot-weld remover and got drilling. Went and bought a small sandblaster and blasted all the bad spots plus the entire engine compartment. Then i took the DA to it. Got it all pretty smooth and needed to get it in primer before it flash rusted on me. (Plus i really wanted to see it all one color!) another buddy came over this morning and we laid down a fog in my driveway. I cant figure out how to post pics from my phone so ill follow up tomorrow with those.
  6. I dont see that he has any right now but this is the guy I bought mine from: http://www.ebay.com/usr/holee138?_trksid=p2047675.l2559 Ive seen him pop up with a set every now and then. They worked great for me. Paid $33 and $34 for express shipping. Got em in right at 2 weeks. Maybe send him an email and see if hes got any coming up.
  7. When I was looking for king pins for my 521 I had ran across those. I did some asking and I thought mklotz had said he researched and found out that the 521 and 620 sets were not interchangeable. I could be mistaken on that, maybe Mike can weigh in here if he sees this.
  8. Anyone have any recommendations? Im close to body and paint on my 521 and looking around. Im near Sac. Not looking for show quality, just a solid daily driver job. Thanks in advance!
  9. So i think that covers it. Sorry about the quality of some of them. Im pretty stoked with the progress so far.
  10. OK....time for my monthly update. Got my King pins and with some help from Mike and Blue Hands Video I got them installed. New bushings everywhere. New upper spindles (i think thats what its called) New lower fulcrum pin. New Kings. New bearings and seals. New steering arms....pretty much the whole front end is new. I also decided to pull the trigger on disc brakes upfront so I got those on today as well. Again....with help from Mike at BHI. I tried posting once already and photobucket is acting crazy so I lost a bunch. Pics will follow.
  11. Tanker: Thanks man....im trying to do it the best I can on a limited budget, but i want it to look new inside and out....even behind the tail lights! My OCD is gonna kill me on this thing. wayno: No luck so far. I think im just gonna leave em be for the time being. Figure I can always do em later if need be.
