  1. I was able to close in on the key components, based on the "How to wire a KA/SR in to anything" diagram that I didnt know about until a few days ago, and now i just need to clarify a few things. From the relay setup you guys have going, i tap in to the harness without completely cutting it and splice in to the B210 harness? Or is there another method? The diagram helps but does not give a clear method on how to get it setup. Check out the pics, im pretty sure ive found the key components...
  2. Shes mounted and ready for some of the critical components. . .slowly but surely getting there now. I fucken love the new shop.
  3. Ill be running the slots but the front will get new rubber. THe body needs a little massaging but nothing major.
  4. I know this is like the, what, 3rd time ive tried to start this dang thing? I appologize people. I really havent had the best of luck these past couple years but if anything has been consistant, its the fact that when the going gets tuff the tuff get going. Ive been working my ass off for way too long and now things are starting to come to fruition. Got a shop space in a shared warehouse locally and got teh B210 over there pronto. I can no longer work out of the homestead and so something like this was the only option. Its pretty reasonable too. .. flat rate unit with all utilities included. Nothing to hold me back but time now. The place is open 24/7 and is filled with some of the most talented, creative and bright minds in the area. The best place to be. Should have semi regular updates for you all. Wish me luck
  5. Made a little more progress today. Cut and flipped the crossmember to allow the pan to drop in to place, fabbed the tranny mount, mocked up the motor mounts but didnt get a chance to weld them up yet and trimmed the trans tunnel to fit the KA 5speed. Ran out of time before it got late but Im loving the build so far. Progress is coming along nicely. I'll upload the pics tomorrow
  6. I've been trying to get to this for a while now. . .let the fun begin The S13 suspension will have to wait for now as i just want to drive it this summer with the datto setup and have a relatively cheap and fun summer car. Started with the simple shite. Cleaned up the engine bay and prepped the crossmember to fab up some new mounts. Not bad for 2 hours. Should be able to shoehorn it in tomorrow and get something mocked up. After i get mounts made i'll take the KA back out, do up the engine bay, clean up and paint motor as well as give it a decent overhaul. __________________
  7. Its been a long time since i last posted here but I have just a bit of an update with the B210. Ive been busy with a 72 440 Charger so now that its just about done, its time to start the ball rolling on this one. . Finally got around to stripping the 240SX down. The plan is to swap everything in to the b210. Engine, tranny, AC and suspension and then finish up with a simple cage. Should be fun The car as sits right now. . S13 Parts
  8. You're right, im required to get it smogged but its not a problem. As long as the V8 is in proper running order, i can get it to pass. Ive done it before and the only thing, really, is money. It costs a little more the 1st time but after that its just a quick trip to any local station every 2 years or year.
  9. Oh, i made my money off the little car. There was no loss on my end! Notice the engine is gone? It sold as is for a few hundred as it sat. 1st thing up on the list of stuff to do is the easiest- Massage the fenders so i can fit the wheel/tire combo from my turbo Z and drop the car. Then of course Z brakes and some modest weight reduction. And after the new year i'll get it running with something. Ford or Chevy. Dont care much. The cheapest, most efficient V8 i can find for a few hundred.
  10. Touche . . .I am a Chevy man after all. Not a ford boy. I did think about the L28. But for the amount of time and energy that any swap will eventually need, i want to have the major satisfaction of hearing that V8 rumble and scream. The ability to shred tires and go really fast in a straight line is said to have therapeutic qualities.
  11. The story is a long and sad one. Short version- Car sold. Car blew up. Car came back. Currently I am on the hunt for the cheapest powerplant i can find. Leaning towards a ford 5.0 V8 cuz they can be had with a trans for very little money and the distributor is in front so no firewall hacking. Plus there is a slew of cheap aftermarket parts for the pony cars and their engines. In the spirit of being a low budget project, the goal is to keep it under 1k in overall cost. Sounds feasible. . . .
  12. Its been a while. Ive been following quite a few of the projects on this site and its my turn to contribute, again. Look what fell back in to my hands . . .time for a KA or SBC.
  13. Sickest . . . . . B210 . . . . . picture . . . . . ever
  14. Just a lil cell phone pic teaser. . .more to come when i get her home and all wershed up.
  15. SOLD!!! Finally got the B210 sold. Took a while, too many tire kickers. And i had to go way below what i asked for but im still making tons of profit on the car. Enough to go pick up the soon to be mine 77 620!!!! Ive had the damn truck on layaway so to speak:p. The shop that has it was starting to lose faith that i would actually come through and pick it up. Im so friggin juiced.
