  1. Buddy of mine just ran across one in Tennessee. Im trying to talk him into buying it. Even tho I know he'll chop her up. I can seem to figure out how to post a pic...
  2. Well shucks. Much appreciated info, Mike. If one were to take the cross member and and bolts it could work? (I'm hoping to get some t3 or remise adjustable lcas in the near future). Is the bushing side of the early bolts usuable?
  3. I know they are tapered because I've had mine out before. That does not mean I know of they are the same or compatible with 69 model bolts. Since the xmember is different and I've read that the Lca ' s are different, at least in the bushing. What I still don't know, is what I asked. If 69 pivot bolts will work in 72 xmembers/lca. So, thanks for your assistance.
  4. 510 pivot bolts are tapered to center in the xmember
  5. I know that the front cross member changed from the 69s to later models, but did the lca pivot bolts change? I'm trying to fix my 72 wagon (which took a hit to my driver wheel) and I think the bolt bent some. I lucked out here on the East coast and found a 4 door, but she is a 69.
  6. Found this on craigslist. Not mine. They look rough, but days they have titles for all 5. And as they say, it three roadsters to make one, correct? http://knoxville.craigslist.org/cto/3917703116.html
  7. Wow. East coast. The wind shield, any de lamination? (milkyness) Also king cab or reg? I'm east tn.
  8. Nissan has came a long way. The Frontier (what evolved from our humble 520s & bulletsides) aren't quite small trucks anymore. The Titan of course, dwarfs our dattos. I've seen concepts of our classics remade into modern Nissans. But what about the opposite. If Datsun had put out a "Titan", a full size, back in the day. What would it looked like? Be powered by?
  9. Hey guys, I am now an authorized dealer of Speedhut gauges. I can, of course, offer fellow ratsuners a discount depending on which gauges you need. Im in the process of switching banks and fixing my paypal accordingly. Check them out. www.speedhut.com Mitchell
  10. I *believe* I've solved it. As in, its currently working. I ran an extra wire from my grounding block and stuck it in with the ground from the comp on the can/am. The fp relay now functions. I know,i know, grounds grounds grounds. What confuddled me was that only one relay was affected.
  11. Update to my above issue. When I manually ground the fplss lead, (like with a test light) the relay will function. This however, makes it stay on even once key turned off.
  12. Hey guys. Got a query. My can/am just started having problems. The Fuel pump relay just goes haywire. Crazy clicking. You have to manually pull it for it to stop. The key has no effect once you try to engage the starter. The fp ok led does not light. Nor does the fuse check led (even when you pull the fuse). I can't find a fault any where. Even pulled the board and had my electronics trained uncle help me check individual components. No obvious faults. Any ideas appreciated. Aside from that, I'm about to try mocking up a seperate fp relay for test/temp use. For the mean time, is there another slot on the can am I can wire the iacv wire? The other two relays appear to be fine. Thanks
  13. Imagine this. To save R&D and since these"emerging markets" prob dont have our safety requirements... What if they started churning out 510s, Zs, 620s. Imagine the parts we could get.
  14. Reread SOPA. & the arguments against it. In its current form a site just linking to copy righted material can be shut down. On accusations. Sopa is right up there with net neutrality on the list of things endangering the internet as we americans know it. SOPA is the sort of thing you hear about China or some dictatorship doing.
  15. The cargo glass area seals are not cheap. 250 ish a set. I bought a set from datsun land socal. They fit pretty good.
