  1. I'll get pics when I'm laying some rubber next week....... Just check the thread on 510realm. BF
  2. It came to life tonight!!! check out the progress here.. http://www.the510realm.com/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=12071&p=134945#p134945
  3. Beautiful car! How much rear camber are you running with your current tire/wheel combo?
  4. The exhaust is almost done. Got the 3" pipe made from the down pipe to the rear Xmember. Waiting on the 2.5" stainless and mufflers to finish. Re drilled the holes for the rear diff mount and installed some NOS bushings in the rear control arms instead of the ones from Napa. (they were slightly diff size) Spent at least an hour cleaning out the old fuel lines. Still a lot of little stuff to do but its getting close. BF
  5. Today I got the power steering res. mounted as well as all of the lines for it. I also got the turbo oil feed and return lines made. Made a mount for the rad. overflow tank and made the pipe from the air filter to the turbo. The rest of the day was spent sorting out the exhaust system. I wanted to have a small 3" in 3" out muffler just in front of the crossmember with an exhaust cutout in between, so I could go to straight exhaust on demand but, its just too much to try to stuff in there. Instead I opted for a 3" exhaust to the back side of the Xmember then a "Y" pipe and go to two 2.5" pipes and two 2.5" mufflers. I hope this will stil be quiet and flow a lot of power. Time will tell....
  6. Yes there are 3. Why would you be scared of this setup? BF
  7. Well, to tell you the truth, the color has grown on me since I first got it. A lot of people have seen the car and almost everyone loves it. They say that it is perfect for the cars look and character. I will be repainting it though. I hope to be able to drive it in a few weeks to sort all of the mechanical stuff. After that its getting completely disassembled for a new paint job inside and out. As of now, I have no idea what the color it is going to be.... BF
  8. Hey Ted, I dont have any idea what the paint code is. The older gentleman I bought the car from said that he had it repainted 12 yrs ago back to the original color it was when he bought it in '72.
  9. Well, then you're gonna be scared, because its front and rear brakes as well as clutch.
  10. A pic of the park lock... and one of the s-13 throttle pedal assy.
  11. Got a lot of work done on the exhaust today....
  12. To get the rad hoses just make up a wire template and head to the auto parts store and try to find something that will work. Both hoses I bought had to be cut to fit lengthwise.
  13. A few updates on the Dime.... -got the turbo in a few days ago and was able to make the IC pipes and everything clears the AC and PS lines. -The IC has had the ends sealed and new inlets and outlets welded in. -Went to advance auto and found some crazy shaped rad. hoses and found two that fits. Radiator install will be finished when I make a top mount for it. -made a shroud for the shifter so it can be sealed up with boot. (have yet to find a boot) -fabbed a bracket to actuate the park lock while using a parking brake from a KIA I got from the JY. -finished the brake lines and did a quick bleed on the calipers. The dime has brakes!! Tomorrow I will start the exhaust and waste gate install. Should be fun!!!!! BF
  14. The GTR has been to the strip before and it ran 11.70's. My brother changed the mid muffler/y-pipe and it was much quicker. Or maybe it was a good launch... I dont know. I've been in it before when he launched it at 4500 and it was the sweetest feeling..... all 4 huge tires hunting for traction and pulling like a freight train. Awesome car for sure!
  15. I like to be comfortable while driving. It has taken a lot of time to locate and install everything as well as costing roughly $750 but it is time well spent. A/C is a must for me on any vehicle I drive. BF
