  1. I have a 72 510 2 door I need a clean drivers door and clean pass. fender. Ive been looking for a while but their hasnt been much up lately. My buddy is waiting on parts to finish bodywork so if you have something lmk. I only want real nice ones, I already have the parts but they would require obscene amounts of bondo and Im trying to avoid that.
  2. This place has been talked about on this forum a bunch. I bought a quarter from them and it was complete garbage. Id stay away. Never heard a good word from someone who bought from there.

  4. This things 15 minutes from my house so if your interested James then I could go over and take pics and vid for you. Kinda depressing to see it was a nice car just 5 years ago, someone needs to go all out on it
  5. It would be cool if one day some of the classic japanese cars get repro bodys like the muscle cars have. Like the ones Dynacornbodies.com makes. Id buy a 2000gt body and drop a RB into it. The price would be high enough that it would still be a rare car. One can dream.....
  6. If your looking for a swamp cooler check out the samba website. There's usually some for sale there. My buddy has one on his bug and it does pretty much nothing so a repro is a good alternative in my book
  7. that wagon looks familiar, I think I bought a bumper that was in the back of it. If it is then the seller is a good guy seemed pretty honest. His landlord is a total nutburger though.

    I enjoyed the novel, in my humble opionion you are who you are. I sometimes look back on comments that I made and think "what a d bag" but I dont erase em cause thats me. Your beating a dead horse though,I didnt need wikipedia to tell me that a v8 would be about twice the weight. Any pics though? Im hoping progress is good.

    He's not specific on anything but he does say they are gonna reenforce the car, he also says he talked to bob as in bob3 on here and that guy knows it all so I think he counts as a "respected professional". Its pretty obvious from the thread that its a swap to be different not a race swap so comparing timed runs isnt really nessessary. The cars gonna be front heavy so its not gonna handle great but he has put some thought into that and he's putting in heavier front springs to help. He doesnt need a rollcage, Id run one but its not a must have. Just cause a guy doesnt break down every detail on a build thread doesnt mean you should assume none of it has been thought of. I understand dogging on the swap beforehand but once a guys committed I just wish the guy the best. I am a bit skeptical but I hope it all works out.

    Dude, Agent orange, most of your questions have already been answered. Read the entire thread before you go off on a dude. Your points about other cars make no sense, he's having a shop do it and they are mid way through it, you want him to stop and change rigs? I think he is being really optimistic with his time and money estimates but if thats what the shop tells him then thats their deal.

    right on, your damned if you do and if dont. Low engine and your car cant be very low, that white vq510 comes to mind but cowl hoods look a little awkward. thats the cost you pay to have a big ass engine though.

You cant really compare the GT and the ZR1, vettes are cool but basially an old man car, and I think if you drive one you have to wear a leather vette jacket and possibly a hat.GT's are nuts, in a old car and driver there was one that had 1000 hp and if I remember right it had a stock bottom end. In that test the vette broke down.
