1. Someone is coming to buy and pick up the car on Saturday 07/17/10 for $3,300. It's his unless someone gives me $3,400 or more before then. If anyone is seriously interested please let me know.
2. Yeah it runs real good, pulls hard, and fast. One day when driving a couple fuses blew and fried some wires. I started rewiring everything and ran outta time.
3. I am selling my project car 1971 Datsun 510 KA24de with clean title in hand. The interior is stripped except dash and racing seats. The exterior is primered gray and body is pretty straight besides a few small dings and dents. The main rust issues are in the rear fender wells where a previous owner sprayed foam filler in. Engine runs strong but needs wiring job completed/fixed to run. Notable upgrades installed include: custom aluminum radiator with adjustable temp switch controlled electric fan, 200sx/maxima fron/rear disc brakes, Troy Ermish Racing front and rear adjustable coilovers, Tokico Illumina Blue struts, Konig Rewind 15x6 and Falken Ziex 510 195/50/15 tires all around with less than 500 miles, security lug nuts with key, Tenzo R racing bucket seats, NRG black carbon fiber quick release steering hub, smaller diameter Momo steering wheel, and batter relocated behond passenger seat. Extra parts that are not installed include: Rallye tripple rear view mirror, Mitsubishi Lancer Evo VII center console, Autometer Phantom II oil pressure/voltmeter/water temp gauge pack, Cobra CB radio, 60mm extended wheel studs, and other misc parts. Please don't contact me unless you are looking for a decent platform to start a 510 project of your own. I'm located in American Canyon, SF Bay Area, CA so if you are interested and do buy the car from me then remember you'll need a tow truck to take it away. Message me on here or text/call my cell (707) 704-4480.

http://s7.photobucket.com/albums/y298/joemurmur/Bebot/
4. I have a 71 2 door 510 and need both the driver and passenger doors, front fenders, and front bumper. Please send pics of what you have and prices. Thanks.
5. Yeah not too far away. Let me know if any 510 or Datsun meets come up. I'll do the same.
6. Thanks man. Sounds good to me. Looking forward to meeting up with the other Dime owners of the north bay. Let me know if anything is up.
7. Thanks for the info bro. Hopefully I can get my dime running good again and make it to the meet. Gonna be kinda hard with the new baby and all. If I have some time to set up a meet then I have a good place to hold it. I just bought a house in American Canyon and it's on a court with lots of parking and there's also a nice park right behind my house. Maybe sometime in the summer?
8. I just moved to American Canyon, CA and was wondering who else owned a 510 in the SF North Bay area. Maybe we can meet up and set up some 510 meets.
9. Sounds good. Make sure you post your updates on here so I can check it out. Are you going to do the swap yourself?
10. Well anyway it was a blessing in disguise that the fuses blew. If they didn't then I wouldn't have noticed the bad wiring job until much later or until something worse happened like a fire or something. Now I can clean everything up the way I want everything. So what's up with your dime?
11. The wiring job was done by McKinney as in McKinney Motorsports? That's a big surprise to me!!! I've only heard and seen high praises for McKinney Motorsports. I'm only an amateur hobbyist electrician and wouldn't rig up a big mess like this!!!
12. After lots of measuring and searching, I found an all aluminum radiator for a CA18DET on eBay from roc_ilan. The radiator's overall measurements are 22" wide, 15" tall, and 1.75" thick. The radiator inlet/outlet measurement is 1.25" which is much smaller than KA24DE coolant inlet/outlet which measures 1.5". All I did is really tighten the hose clamps down until the new Spectre flexible radiator hoses wouldn't even budge. The electric fan was an easy choice. I just went to Jegs ang got the 10" electric fan which fits the radiator perfectly. CA18DET Aluminum Radiator with Jegs 10" Electric Fan Top View Installed
