  1. Oh, I'm going to Canby but I'm not going in my 510 sadly.
  2. Thanks for pointing that out Jeff, I appreciate it. That was me trying to keep the tie rods and drag link from binding up. I aint going to lie to you, that was me selling it. For I think $350? It's a long story and I would rather not tell it all on here. I got the brackets off of Ebay for $80, couldn't find anything on Rock Auto
  3. I finally got the second part of the front 280zx calipers, put some brake pads in it.
  4. My buddy Ian welded up my exhaust O2 bung and I deleted my egr so I'm just running the O2 sensor in that hole. It will only read 2 cylinders but it's good enough for now.
  5. Trust me I won't paint it for 15+ years or as long as possible. I'll be using POR15 Clear and clearcoating it after Canby
  6. I did end up getting the right part from the dealership. My local machine shop had two of the same part ordered from them. Put on the tranny and then my buddy gave me a motor mount. The night after two of my buddies helped me put it in That got me thinking wiring and gas now
  7. So I ended up going to the dealership first and the parts guybwas super helpful. He ended going through a ton of parts diagrams and found a possible match. Looks exactly like it so I'm hopeful It will be here in a week. Fingers crossed. The local machine shop actually had 2 of the same part ordered from them.
  8. Tried pulling my crank pulley off of my second parts motor ended up breaking it. I have another parts motor sitting out so I grabbed the pulley off of that one. Cleaned it up, painted it and put it on with an electric impact
  9. Parts motor Rebuilt Motor Intake Mani, I replaced most of the vaccum lines and deleted egr. I still need to put a block plate on but I'll make that tomorrow or the next. I'm also going to need to go to my local machine shop to get an oil filter bypass valve. Fixed the coolant elbow direction You can see here my rebuilt motor doesn't have the oil filter bypass valve so it would just not filter oil essentially
  10. I mean to say the part of the front brake caliper that bolts to the strut, I don't have those. I have the side with the brake piston on it
  11. Late nights trying to get this thing together and engine started within a month. I'm getting this thing to Canby!! I'm on the engine now since I was getting hung up on 280zx front brake brackets.... still need them. Working on transferring parts from my parts motor to my rebuilt longblock. These are just some reference photos for my own damn good. Will be posting some more oics very soon
  12. I painted my valvecover while I was doing some engine work. Tried to match the car the best I could.
  13. It's a roller!!! Out of the garage after about 9 months of sitting on jack stands. Took a few pictures today after I adjusted the ride height. Has some serious toe-out but I'll fix that soon enough. This is probably my favorite picture that I took today. I think the passenger got sandpapered by some sticker bushes for a while. Well still looking for 280zx Brake Brackets until I get those I'll be working on getting my engine in it. Gotta start mocking stuff up. Also I still can't post in the Datsun Parts Wanted section. Thanks for looking yall!
