  1. Hey 521newbie, I saw your truck at the sactown swap meet.I talked to you about your bucket seats. What were they out of?

  2. hey, My name is Ronnie from Oklahoma,,,can you give me a call at 918-448-5685 in regards to your parts,,,I have a 70' 521 I just bought last week.

    Thanks

    Ronnie

  3. Here is what I have. 521 Bench seat needing upholstery $20.00 2 complete doors from a 72 (no mirrors) $125 2 doors from a 69 holes cut for speakers (no hinges and one has a broken window crank) $80 Passenger side fender with emblem for a 72 (rough) $20 Stock distributor and coil with fairly new cap and rotor (worked when pulled) $15 Tailgate latches Maroon in color $10 Grill with a small ding $10 Headlight trim $15 each or 2 for $20. I have 2 sets 1 eyebrow trim $5 Hitach carb with manual choke complete $25 Thanks for looking
  4. Here is some of what I'll have for 521s. A set of doors from a 69 A set of doors, hood, and passenger fender off a 72 Grill Headlight trim Thermostat housing gaskets nos 2 points distributors Set of 15" wheels with tires (will need new front tires) Heater hoses nos 1 set Bench seat (needs upholstery) Other odds and ends, some 620 too See you all out there.
  5. Can you elaborate on the third gear switch? Where is it and what role does it play? It sounds like it may be what's wrong with my truck.
  6. I believe the year range is 86-88 on the Fiero. When I ordered mine I asked for an 87 4 cyl but I don't think the 6 was different if I can remember right.
  7. Update on progress. 04 civic seats. A little stiff but supportive and for 80 bucks they were less than half the cost of recovering the bench seat. I kept the stock 14s and with 1/4 spacers there is plenty room to clear the brake calipers. I have 7/16 of thread on the wheel studs.
  8. I did the hardbody disc swap on my 521 a few months ago. They are night and day better than the drums for all the reaons everyone's stated so far.
  9. The search feature is nothing it used to be. I use google to search the site. Anyway to fix it admin?
  10. Is there anyway to change my user name?

  11. Do you have a thermostat housing for L16? The one that bolts to the side of the head.
  12. Tonight I got quoted 250 installed for the old loop style carpet with padding. Does anyone have feedback on the price? I've seen the guys work and it looks like top notch craftsmanship. He says he can recover my bench seat including new foam for 200 and up depending on styling.
  13. I need both heater tubes for under the dash, the driver side plastic vent that bolts up underneath the dash, and the rubber circle shaped cover over the heater. What condition are they in if you still have them?
  14. So you want a 620. I suggest going with a 73 or 72 because of the smog bs in our retarded state. Stick with a 620. It's harder to find parts for the 521. Don't pay too much and check it out completely so you know what work it will need. That may mean taking someone with you that has experience with these.

  15. The intake and exhaust manifolds are on with the unneeded junk plugged off. The intake manifold cleaned up nice. New PCV hose on, just waiting to pick up a Weber this week and the engine should be done for now. I installed felt channeling in both doors and did the window squeegees. The inner squeegees are from a 87 Mazda B2200. I used the old metal clips attached to the Mazda squeegees. I used a 4runner rear squeegee for the outer but I'm not happy with how they turned out, way too tight. I'm probably going to go with the nos stuff off ebay. Any ideas for the outer squeegees???
