I pulled it out of a 79 model To what length would i have to cut the drive shaft?

I pulled it off of a 280zx this is the tranny

I recently bought a 5 speed 280zx turbo tranny for replace the stock 4speed but the drive shaft is to long for the new tranny. I was wondering what drive shaft I could use for this tranny

The guy I bought the car from intended to put and sr 20 in it

I have a 4 speed datsun 510 i don't know much about gearing so i couldn't tell you what my gearing is

Would it be better to swap the old stock diff for this one?

When I bought my 510 the guy gave me a diff and he didn't to tell from what car it was. Theirs one in my 510 already and I was wondering what kind of diff is this.
