  1. Sorry, but I'd say you weren't very smart in just assuming the valuation of $50 was correct without doing your own research, which is what banks do. They don't just assume what a borrower states the value of something truly is worth what they say it is, they do their own appraisal to make sure their asses are covered if the borrower defaults.
  2. Fight or flight - we know what his choice was. He is a Dodge owner, after all...
  3. I'm pretty sure the chair is in reference to some brawl that broke out in Alabama not long ago. Something like that, anyway.
  4. Funny you ask - my coworker's son tested positive this morning. Not sure what the protocol is any more, I think the schools treat it like the flu these days.
  5. At least it looks like it's just a 2 + 2.
  6. Back in the 90s, the Canadian military tried to shoot a weather balloon down using their cannons and it just kept going. Later, the British and Americans tried and it still wouldn't come down immediately - it came down slowly, eventually crashing down in Finland. https://www.cbc.ca/news/politics/weather-balloon-canada-china-1.6737831
  7. The Caballero was the GMC-badged version of the El Camino. The one pictured is an El Camino going by the 'Chevrolet' grille badge and hood ornament. Pontiac never sold a version of the El Camino, though there was a concept of sorts in 1960 (El Catalina).

  9. Not sure if it was your intention but the article states that the Janssen (J&J) vaccine is the only single-dose vaccine. The article was written back in January when the J&J vaccine hadn't been approved so the 'what if' only referred to the released 2-dose vaccines.
  10. Agreed - may as well get the 2nd. I was a bit worried about my 2nd based on what I heard from some people especially since it was less than 3 weeks after having major surgery but I had less of a reaction to it (just a sore arm) than the 1st dose. For the record, I got the Pfizer vaccine.
