  1. We had a similar problem with my rallycar. had a harness from a truck and sensors/engine from a car. I had 2 problems. One was the the wiring to the MAF was different then the pins on the MAF itself. Had to rewire the harness and that fixed the running rich and some stumbles it had. The other was the 5-speed/auto ecu thing. With the 5.13 differential, it would only go 80mph. I went on car-part.com and found an auto ecu. been running great for 3 years now...
  2. Yep, just for a little while... Sold. Thanks for looking
  3. Rust Free 1986 300zx. 120,000 miles 5 speed, runs great. nice leather interior. rust free body except for front end. $750 or best offer. will be willing to part out after a few weeks.
  4. I contacted Precision Gear, and they don't know that part number, and don't know what it is. So i'm still looking. BTW, they told me that they discontinued all the R180 LSD's. :(
  5. I have a diff like this one in the rally car. it is starting to break away easier than usual, so I need to rebuild it, but I have no idea what kind it is. It is a R180. It kinda looks like a Nismo LSD, but says LOM6 on it like a precision gear lsd. It is a clutch type 4 pinion lsd. Any help? Thanks, Jim S.
  6. bump for updated original post and lower prices...
  7. I thought so, but I didn't want to mislead anyone, so I just put what the sticker said. Thanks Jim S.
  8. Got some 280z body panels. Would prefer local pickup, but will ship at buyers expense: Z-car fiberglass front fenders=Sticker on them say "70-78 280z" doesn't look like they have any extra flare. In original gel coat. No scratches or nicks or cracks. I haven't seen these anywhere. Also come with fiberglass headlight buckets in similar condition. $250/pair or best offer. Z-car fiberglass quarter panels=Again stickers say "70-78 280z" and doesn't look like they have nay extra flare. Original gel coat and no nicks or cracks or scratches. $175/pair or best offer Weld in rocker panels=replacement weld in rocker panels. $45 or best offer 280z doors= do not have glass or inner door panel, just the shell. yellow door has some rust on lower edge and in corner. black door has no rust. Yellow door-$45 Black Door-$50 or best offer All parts located in Green Bay WI. check out my photobucket page for more pics, http://s273.photobucket.com/albums/jj229/jimmer84/280z%20parts/
  9. Bump. Need this stuff gone, make some offers.
  10. I will ship anything at the buyers expense. All prices are "or best offer". Need this stuff gone! No reasonable offer will be refused. Stock L16 block and crank. just as removed from car. $50 Race-prepped L16 block and crank. deck has been o-ringed, crankcase and crank have been polished and all high spots have been ground down. bored .030 over. deck needs a little cleaning but bores are good.$100 Built L16. displacement is 1654cc, custom machined Aries Pistons on race prepped nissan rods, o-ringed deck, head is #219, ported and polished, custom stainless valves, 1.73 intake 1.38 exhaust valve sizes. i believe it has a stock sss cam. on a really crappy tune with itb's and megasquirt it made 87hp at the wheels. with a good tune i would guess 100hp at the wheels. not too bad for a l16. all work done less than 1 year ago and has less than 100 miles on it. can be assembled before shipping or left apart for inspection and will include a gasket kit. $700 more pictures can be seen at: http://s273.photobucket.com/home/jimmer84 Thanks for looking Jim S.
  11. I have two 5-speed transmissions and I have no idea where they are from or what they are. I think this is just a stock Z-car 5 speed, it came in my road racing car, but i think it was just a spare. There are no numbers on top of the bellhousing, in fact, they are ground off. Approx. gear ratios are: 1-3.07 2-1.88 3-1.29 4-1 5-.76 This one i'm not sure about. There are numbers on the top of the bellhousing-7z07147, but it looks like the tailstock is different. Approx gear ratios are: 1-3.2 2-2.08 3-1.31 4-1 5-.86 I found the approx gear ratios by turning the input shaft 10 times and counting how many times the output shaft turns in each gear. I'm looking to sell these transmissions, but would like to know what they are before. Thanks Jim S.
  12. Why dont you use some "doughnut" spare tires? They are really narrow. You will have to stud them for racing. My friend is doing this with his Audi 200 Turbo quattro Jim S.
