  1. Yes. Sold it about a year ago if my memory serves. She was a beauty. Loved it but my 6'2" frame didn't really fit in it too well. Knees against dashboard.
  2. Thanks Guys, I haven't had a chance to look through my emails etc to find out the details of the engine but will do so this weekend. If someone was serious in wanting this truck, I could negotiate on the price. I also have some spare parts like bumperettes (that need chrome) that I could part with as well if anyone needs parts, let me know. I do have the original wheels as well if anyone is interested in a stock looking truck. The amazing thing about this truck is how straight the bed is given that it is single walled steel. I don't believe any body work has ever been done on it. Thanks for looking.
  3. Help me out. I can't remember what the guy who sold me told me. I know he swapped the original engine for one that was "more reliable" in his opinion.
  4. Hey Guys, I hate to do this but the economy has forced me away from this beautiful truck. I think I'm going to sell it if I can get back what I put in. I met a bunch of you guys when I first got this truck last year. I think in August? I bought it for $3000 and all I did was drive it from the desert back to my house in Inglewood and then down to the Ratsun monthly once. I've taken it around the block to keep it running right but really no miles on it. I'm looking to get $3000. Here are the pictures from when I got it a year ago. I need to and can take some new ones but it is the same truck. I've got a bunch of extra parts from the guy I bought it from that he had from restoring it. This is a super straight body. No dents in the bed. Really amazing for this single wall thin metal. You could take this truck to the top of the heap with very little work. It has an L16 motor (is that the engine that the 521 has?). I'm pretty sure he just swapped the original engine for one from the next model up. It runs great and you can do 60 on the freeway which you couldn't do with the original engine (i'm told). Also, there is a dent in the front bumper that was there when I first got it but he also gave me a brand new chromed front bumper which is still wrapped in the foam from the chrome shop. I'm sure there's a bunch more that I'm forgetting, but if you want to know anything, let me know. I'm in Southern California, right near LAX.
  5. I registered, but my son has a fever and he's too young to ignore it. I'm afraid I'm going to miss it this year guys. I'll be at the next Torrance meet and I'll hear the stories from you on this site. Hey Cris, if you still want the bumperettes, I can mail them to you or give them to you at the next Torrance meet. Have fun guys! See you next time.
  6. Sorry, don't have any windshield parts. I've got a few things on Ebay now since I hadn't heard back from some of you. Radiator Heater Core turn Signal Switch tail light/Brake lamps generator voltage regulator (2 of them) Fan Shroud I also have a clutch, mounting plate, throwout bearing. Everything else listed in previous posts is sold. Let me know if anyone is interested in any of these items and we can make a deal. I have them on ebay but would prefer to sell to a Ratsun member. Thanks,
  7. I Pm'ed you, but I still have a generator, heater core, radiator and a bunch of other parts. Let me know what you need.
  8. Well, 73Dat and I were talking at the meet in Torrance and that's why I dug them out, so I want to give him first opportunity at them. If he doesn't want them, then you can have them. How bout that?
  9. Here are some extra new parts that have been ordered over the years and I'm looking to unload. The PO ordered these and then found what he needed locally so ended up with two of everything. My truck is running great, and I don't need them now so I figured I would unload at pennies on the dollar. If I had bought them, I would probably hold onto them for when mine go, but since I didn't, his loss is your gain. They are in the original boxes, in most cases with the receipts. These are all for a '67 J13 engine. I'm not sure what else they would work on. alternator - he paid $70 - sell for $30 obo + shipping Water pump - with gasket - $30 obo + shipping Distributor - $30 obo
  10. I just dug through some more boxes and have a few more parts for sale. I was talking to the guys at the meet in Torrance on Friday and I think there may be some interest in these things. We'll see. Thanks for looking. 1200 valve Cover - $10 Bumperettes (I think Chris was looking for these?) - $50 They are totally straight. Looks like chrome and some flat black paint on top. Would need to be sandblasted and then rechromed. There are some brackets that the PO made for them, but they appear too short. they would probably be good if you welded on another piece to add a few inches. Intake and exhaust manifolds for E1 engine - $20 Rebuilt (like new and never installed) clutch for 1964 column shift 4 speed. Would work on earlier model 320s as well. $60 Headlight rings - $50 Turn signal switch - $25 Windshield wiper assemblies (complete) - $30 Voltage Regulators - there are two - $20/ea. Make me an offer. I put the prices on there but am open to offers.
  11. I just registered. 47 miles from my house. That's going to be a long trip in the 320.
  12. Thanks guys, Had a lot of fun. I'll make sure to sign up for the JCCS if it isn't too late already.
  13. Does anyone know if you need the taper on a '65 320? I'm looking at lowering 3" and didn't know if the same applies for a 320 that applies for a 520.
  14. What are those little cars that look like Mini Coopers? They are great. I'm in Inglewood. I'm going to try and make it down there with my '65 L320 this week. Thanks, Jason
  15. Well, it fits in a small flat rate box which costs $5 to ship anywhere. However, I'm not sure if the switch works. It looks complete and if I pull the lever it goes to one side, then if I flip a little metal triangle, it releases and I pull the lever and it goes to the other side. I want to make sure you know what you're getting. Does this sound right? How bout $20 (shipped)? I just played with it a bit more. Looks like it functions correctly to me. the levers and cams are all there with springs intact. So, I think it is all good. Price still stands. Thanks,
