  1. I got it all washed and ready to take pictures when.....boom! My wife burst my bubble. Turns out when she dug out the pink slip, it's registered as a 1971, built 9/71. I'm still going to put on CL. Carbs are still on it, starts and runs amazingly well. Ugly as sin, but it's a 240. sdcarguy.
  2. Thanks a lot for your analysis datsunaholic. It starts and runs well, clear title and it's been non-op for a long time. I was looking for just what you wrote to clarify my fuzzy thoughts. And, King rat, I appreciate the note of caution. I am a mechanic by trade, so I always read the directions last. It won't go for sale here except in classifieds where it belongs. sdcarguy
  3. The trees are diseased and old Myoporums.
  4. I am a newbie here, but not to cars. I posted a pretty long thread about this car, but must have done something wrong, because I can't find it. So here goes again. Shorter and more to the point. I have (second owner) an early 1970 204Z that has been sitting for years. It is very rough for a number of reasons. However, the body, floor pans and glass is all pretty good. Very little rust. I bought a sweet set of SU's for it and it starts really well. My question comes down to should I scrap it, Craigs List it, or part it? Thanks for any input. I would really like to sell the carbs, including a set of rebuildable cores, and the CL route seems the most expediant. I do need it gone fairly quickly because I have some trees I have to remove pretty soon. sdcarguy
