It's common for tow companies to give a discount to repair shops if the shop initiated the tow. If you called the tow company direct and paid them directly, you would have still paid the $158.50.

What show were you at? Nissan Fest was lame! some drifting, and some nice cars mixed into the "show" which you had to pre-register for and pay out the ass to be in. Lost all the social interaction that Golden Gardens has always had, and showing off our cars. We had to park across the street in a field, WTF? We worked out asses off cleaning our cars up to park in a friggin field and not even show our cars?! Not what I expected at all. Maybe next year.

Hmm........ugly, impractical for most. Diesel/electric hybrid would be cool, or electric with a small diesel generator - hell, the diy guys have done it already and showed them at SEMA last year, you think a giant car corporation could figure it out! Not directed at Nissan, nobody is doing it yet. I think hydrogen fuel cell cars are where it's at.

Heck with the crankshaft, I'd love to get my hands on a complete running LD28, turbo it, and use it in my 240Z! I love diesels, but everybody always pilfers the cranks and tosses the rest :frantics:

Ha, ha, yes I am. Too tall most of the time! It sucks when wanting a cool car or motorcycle or whatever when I don't fit! I just kinda figured there wouldn't be much room in a standard cab!

Is the wheel totally locked up, or will it roll enough to get it onto a car trailer? How is it for rust? I've kinda been looking for a 620, and I need a extended cab cause I'm 6'7"! Thanks

Seems to me that people will type things on the internet that they wouldn't say in person, or at least not around people they don't know. The internet is impersonal at best, I usually just ignore threads like this and assume the haters are just people without a lot of real world experience. I think that sometimes, we just need to step back from the keyboard for a few minutes before we post.
