Hey draker.
Not talking about ball joints? The shafts that go between the tie rod ends need to be a different size.. not sure how else to describe these things..
thanks
Hey ratsuners
I tried searching but couldn't find any other posts with this problem. My 69 510 has smaller tie rod shafts then what will fit the moog tie rod ends. I seem to have tie rod ends that are 14mm? and rods that are 12mm? I'm tried searching all over Moogs site for answers and here on ratsun with no luck. Am I crazy?
Moog joints =
ES483R Pass outer
ES486L Pass inner
ES487L Driver Outer
ES489R Driver Inner
Thanks
Hi btdub
Can you throw up some pics.. or oics, to see what you are trying to do. I also will be going with Sparco seats and seeing what you are up against will help me and others on installation.
Thx

Looking to replace the inner door and quarter window molding. This stuff is shaped in a U pattern, has metal running down the core of it and has a vinyl textured outer coating. It is the stuff that starts under your door jam kick plate and goes around the inside of the door frame covering all the spot welds.. I can't seem to find replacement stuff anywhere.. One autoparts guy suggested door bumper guard molding but the stuff is too thin and doesn't sit down low enough to cover the spot welds. Let me know if someone has come across a similar cut-to-fit.. maybe a Marine store for boat hatches?
Thanks
Jrat
You have video of that thing running with the side pipe? I have a feeling it is WAY loud when you hit the go pedal.. Straight pipe or Muffler?
Also, is that your 242? Is it a true turbo car? I was a Brick guy for some time in the 90's, early 2000's and almost got another one before I got my first dime.. Still one of the best handling solid axle cars i ever had.. Anyone who wants to check out a well built Volvo should check out this guy in Portland OR.

Sorry man.. just read your laid up.. foot, ankle and knee issues can be painful.. like want to make you hurl painful.. elevation, ice and large quantities of ibuprofen will help, but a doc is probably in your future..
