  1. Sorry to let everyone down on info in this thread, I'm spread a bunch of directions these days and almost never get on ratsun. Les at Classic Datsun Motorsports is the one making and selling these. If you want one just give him a call, 760-940-6365.
  2. I'm posting this for a good friend who lives locally. I will vouch for everything on this car personally. It is setup to be either an aggressive street car or a vintage race sedan. Anything in () is my comments, the rest is from the seller. Car is located in Oceanside, CA. "Up for sale is my '71 51- that I've been working on for three years as time and money permitted. Unfortunately my interests have changed so I'm putting my dream project up for sale. The shell is straight and rust free. Any rust shown in the pictures is surface rust and will clean up easily. The roll cage was professionally installed and welded as shown. ( All it lacks to be vintage race legal is door bars.) I've squared away many parts over the years and have been lucky enough to buy a complete race built suspension from Les Cannaday at Classic Datsun Motorsports. The front coilovers are complete but I've only shown the major components. (The suspension parts/modifications are from Design Products. We use their suspensions on all of our race 510's.) The engine is an L20b bored .036 over to run 240z flat top pistons. It has a peanut chamber A87 head with professional port work, comp springs, and a Racer Brown cam. All timing components are new. Bottom end is stock with new bearings, and balanced. The engine was built by Monte at Machine Tech in Oceanside, CA. (Monte builds most of our race engines. This is a great performance street engine.) The valve cover was powder coated and cleaned properly. The Mikuni intake has been professionally port matched to the head and carbs. Carburetors are freshly rebuilt 44mm Mikunis. I do not have a linkage. The distributor is stock with a pertronix electronic ignition and a performance advance plate. I have the water pump and mechanical fuel pump. I also have a 200sx 5 speed overdrive transmission. Rear differential is stock 510. I prefer to sell as a complete package for $7000 OBO. The car is ready for paint and reassembly. If it does not sell I may consider parting it out but it would be pick up only. The car is licensed, registration is current and non-opted. Pink slip and title in hand." The only dent in the car. This is a super straight car. I build 510's for a living and can tell you that you will be hard pressed to find a better shell anywhere. His suspension is legit and everything is powder coated or re-zinced. My friend has owned 510s in the past and was definitely putting this one together right. If you're interested let me know and I'll send you his phone #.
  3. Here are some long overdue pictures of the spoilers. The top two (white spoiler) are 710 and the bottom one (black) is 610. Unfortunately we don't have pictures of them mounted to cars yet, hopefully we'll have some of those soon.
  4. Classicdatsun.com would be the place to go and we will send out a photo of the new 710 front spoiler which is an original off the dave frellsen 710 race car it looks fantastic and unfortunately we cannot fit it to our 710 racecar since the valance is not straight enough to mount it. So I guess that means we may make the 710 front valance and front fenders next. Followed by the hood and trunk and rear flares. But it is going to take some time to get it all done as our model is an active vintage race car. Les
  5. Les has a list of what we need somewhere but I don't know where. Does he have your #? He's not much for internet communication... lol
  6. So far nothing is spoken for. We need to get those parts from you asap, the car is back from paint and we're beginning assembly. Give Les a call when you get a chance so we can work something out.
  7. Free or best offer. We have leftover parts after stripping a 610 and a 260 for racing. As a consideration to the community we're listing them here in part before throwing them away. Anything unclaimed within the next week will be junked. We'll be happy to ship parts, you cover the shipping cost of course. 610: Hood Front Valences, one '73 and one '74 NOS front fenders for a '74 Trunklid (coupe) Dash Partial wiring harness Misc interior bits and pieces. The hood, '73 valence, and trunklid were used to make our fiberglass molds so they are perfectly straight with a coat of sealer on them. 260z Wiring harness. (Complete from what I can tell) Interior misc pieces. If you need "Interior misc bits and pieces" send me a pm with what you need and I'll check to see if we have it. Hopefully this stuff can help somebody out. If you're in SoCal you're welcome to stop by, look through it and pick up whatever you might need.
  8. *Update* 710 Chin spoilers are finished and available for $195. I'll try to get some pictures of the spoilers up shortly! If you sent us a clean original hatch we could have one made for you. It would likely be prohibitively expensive because you would have to pay for the mold (which you would subsequently own). One-off parts are not cheap!
  9. Okay 610 people, I have some good news! 610 Fiberglass is finished and available! Here's some pictures and details. Hood: Full framework (nice and rigid) with captive nuts installed for hinges and latch. These ship oversize, please be aware when ordering. Price: $485 Trunklid: Full framework (nice and rigid) with captive nuts installed for hinges and latch. Price: $395 Front Valence: Exact copy of a '73 valence. Price: $195 Chin Spoiler: I don't have pictures of this yet but here's one from the original car. Price: $185 Front Fenders: Flares reproduced from the original Bob Sharp #33 610. Price: $295 each. Rear Flares: These are also molded directly off of the Bob Sharp #33 610. Price: $225 per set. We've had these produced locally from a high quality source using the best original examples we could find to produce the molds. The fit and finish is better than any fiberglass panels I've ever worked with before. We're making them robust enough that you shouldn't have any concern using them on a street car whatsoever! For more info hit me up here or contact Les at Classic Datsun.
  10. This is a pretty clean set of Wats that I've had laying around for a while. I don't have anything that they fit anymore so it's time to let them go. Specs: 13x7 A offset (+3 irrc) 13x6.5 A offset (+1.5 iirc) 4x114.3, painted center, polished lip. The centers need repainting but the barrels are very clean, minimal rash. $600 OBO. Located in Escondido, CA. Willing to ship. :)
  11. Quick update for you guys: We have an early version of a 710 lip similar to the one posted above coming from the east coast so we can replicate it. We're slammed with projects for the historics right now so the glass production is moving a bit slower than we hoped. Rest assured, at some point in the not-to-distant future it will be available! We're launching a new website soon so check there for updates!
  12. We're looking for the coupe tails with surrounding trim. We also need the trim around the quarter windows, drip rail molding, and windshield stainless. We also need a set of outside door handles. The 710 parts will be very similar to this car.
