  1. Hey fellas, been down a while trying to save money for my girl here. Had a couple of questions I hoped someone could help with. The motor is an S15. Is the main reason NOT to use an S15 N/A ECU because it is OBDII? If so, how does that hurt me? The guy I got the engine from told me I should use a 'chipped S13' ECU because it would allow me to use the VVT, and an S13 is OBDI. I've had some trouble finding a chipped ecu for an non-turbo s13. I'm sure thats not a surprise. Any help is appreciated.

Thanks.... I had no idea Troy Ermish did that type of thing through his shop. I know all about the parts he sells, I plan on buying the coil over kit and the wilwood kit, eventually. I need the coilovers because I installed the Datsport SR kit and it kicks out the camber somethin fierce!

I like the idea of local help. I'll obviously pay, what are their names on the board here?

Anyone know how to get a hold of DGR Fab? I emailed him today but it got returned. My project has been dormant for about a year due to funds! I'm trying to get rolling again. I can't find their website online either. Is he still in business?
  5. For sale is a Rebello built L20B, bored .040, balanced and blueprinted with a roadster clutch. It has a .575/.275 cam on a A87 head. Big "Z" valves. Flat-Top pistons, and an oil spray bar. Cam has some surface rust on the lobes, may be able to polish out, if not the Bottom end is stout. It has bad rings on #4 and I blew the head gasket. Now I'm slowly doing an SR20de build. Note: No Carbs or Intake and Tranny has been sold PM questions. $350 obo.
  6. Posting this for a guy I work with. It's a super clean, white 78 280Z with Recaros. This thing is in awesome shape. It has two sets of wheels, both gold. Panasports and Enkeis. Both 14 inch. The pics have the Panasports on front and the Enkeis on back just to show both sets. This car belonged to his Grandpa who stored it in his garage for a really long time. He never really drove it. $4500 Call Seth 206-818-6648 ( North Seattle ) PICS! http://s662.photobucket.com/albums/uu345/sethisusdm/Datsun%20280z%20for%20sale/
  7. Thanks guys! I'm pretty stoked! I guy I grew up with has his own race-prep/tuning shop in Huntington Beach, CA. I took a vacation and brought my car with me. He specializes in Porsche GT2/GT3 stuff. That said, he does a lot of work on Mercedes, Ferrari and pretty much anything that the "stupid-rich" want to go faster. It's insane the kind of money that they have down in Orange county.
  8. Check out my custom fabricated Collector, and Tip. All 304 Stainless steel, TIG Welded. The Muffler is a custom Can, too, I don't have a pic currently but it is regular "flowmaster" shape also made of Stainless steel and packing. No Baffles. It was designed for use on a Porsche 996 Turbo. I can't wait to hear her scream. Seriously Pimp Shit!!
  9. I'm going with Troy Ermish's Coil-Over kit and Wilwood brake setup. I should be fine. I personally don't know how to weld very well, so I'm going with an external pump, Probably a walbro. As for the brake line restrictor block, mine cleared fine, just like Icehouse said it would.
  10. Thanks!!! You got that Right! I hate those wheels and I always have. I was thinking of Panasports, only Panasports are a fortune, so maybe some Konig Rewinds or Rota RBs.
  11. S15 Engine and S14 Tranny, bolted in place. Getting Ready for the Custom bbi Exhaust. Pimp Shit!
  12. Update: Found a trailer. Thanks.

  14. REPost from Wanted: Hi guys. Hoping someone can help. I need a car hauler for my dime for about two weeks. I'm going to SoCal to do some work on my car. I'll rent your flatbed/split deck car hauler from you over that time. Even a Dolly if you have one. I'll come pick it up in the Seattle Area. PM me with your price and pics if you have them. Any help is appreciated. Edit/Delete Message
