  1. The one to keep all the fluid in when you remove the driveshaft.
  2. What he said. I really couldn't tell you exactly where it came from. I bought it off a buddy who just had it rebuilt. It was one of the first things I replaced on the wagon as it had a sloppy 4 spd when I bought it. Sorry it took so long to respond, a PM might have been faster. I hope you and that wagon are doing well. here is a link to where I bought the rebuild kit for my current trans, although I think they might be sold out. You might be able to get part# from it or the website. On a side note Anybody know what size plug I need for the tailshaft?
  3. Have you tried https://www.piercemanifolds.com/category_s/181.htm ? There might be something there that would work.

  5. I had a 68 or 69 camaro cap on my old wagon.
  6. i would rather not have to go this route. Hopefully someone on here has the right timing cover. If worst comes to worst, I might have to. that's the last time i buy from FB.

    Timing cover

Ran into a bit of a problem today. I was trying to get my engine back together and, wouldn't you know it, I seem to have the wrong timing cover. As you can see it IS for an L20B. Anyone have the one I need, with the bolt holes farther apart? I will trade you or buy if I have to. L20b U67 Thanks

  9. Did a couple dry runs to just line it up. Then once I got it on, popped it up enough to get some goop in and, BAM. All done. Shifts like butta. Now I just need to finish the motor and the rest of the car 😕
  10. Does anybody have any secret techniques to getting the tail housing back on? I'm trying to button up this trans rebuild and the tail housing is kicking my ass. The FSM says it should be in 5th, but it doesn't really say what to do with the tail housing. I've tried 5th, 4th, N, I'm beat and out of sillycone. angryface.jpg tiredface.jpg You're suggestions will be attempted tomorrow. Right now it's beer:30. Thank you
  11. keep'em coming I have some leftover pontiac blue I'll probably use, but could always be swayed by pretty pictures.

    rocker arms

it's a box of loose ones, from like 2 or 3 rebuilds. order doesn't matter. For me I like newer ones if i'm putting a new cam in but, I guess it doesn't really matter. I just like to do things once and not worry. Thanks for the info. This just might save me some money 🙂

Are you thinking of swapping 13B into your 510? I have something you might want. I have a modified front x-member and mounts. The x-member has also been flipped so you can use your stock oil pan. In order to use this, your motor needs the GSL-SE center iron, it will have 3 mounting studs on each side. $330 shipped
