I have a problem with my gas leaking. I have replaced the cap tightened every screw and done all I can think of to fix the problem. T he gas does not leak in the trunk, only on the outside. Has anyone else had this problem? Is there some sort of gasket that is supposed to be between the gas cap mount and the body? I tried putting a sealant between the gas cap mount but that failed. Any suggestions on how to fix this problem.

thats what i originally thought, so i got a new gas cap, but it seems like it is leaking from the gas cap "mount" (i'm not sure what the technical term is for that) not the gas cap.
