  1. My rubber is completely demolished and the vibrations are concerning me. I am sure the bearing is fine but like stated above I cant swap just the rubber. I've owned it for 16 years and this will be the first I've messed with it
  2. I need to do this on my truck and when I ordered the part i got a message from the company asking me to verify that "Your bearing ID should be 1.1811" without taking the thing apart i dont have that answer, does anyone here know the OEM spec on a 77 620 longbed?
  3. Hey datzenmike, I have a 5wire ignition. I want to wire in two switches one for ignition and one for the starter. What I can't seem to get an answer for is what I do with the resistor wire

    Z20 build

question on the z20 pistons, if i wanted to take them up a size, do i need to worry about any hot spots from enlarging the pistons? i was talking to a friend about it and he brought up this very good point considering the l20b always pops between 2 and 3 from overheating.

    Z20 build

So from what I have found so far, I am not going to get much more out of the z20 than I am with an L20b. I was planning on a z22 but that block turned out to be a z20. It is what it is and I want to make the best of it, so... What can I do to get the most out of what I have to work with? Z20 block with a A87 head and a 32/36 web Update: Pistons are 3.320" or 84.33mm Cylinders are 3.345" or 84.96mm Rods are marked N85 exhaust is stock L20b and not cast, however the intake is cast.
  6. 30w low 45w high led set up
  7. Halo and blue are on a switch, and far from legal.
  8. Just thought I'd share my new up graded beams.

    Warped head?

Head is warped 0.019" and need to find a shim kit to get me by until I find another one. The truck has always ran hotter than I thought it should but nothing I could do would fix it.

    Warped head?

So mostly sure I blew the head gasket. Did the tear down and rebuild, got rid of some of the emissions stuff, new thermostat, radiator, and headlights. Once together I tried starting it and began to build pressure in the radiator and still have white smoke in the exhaust. Gonna tear down again tomorrow and get the head milled down. Anything I'm missing here?
  11. So totally normal right? ;) I'm guessing the Rev gear lost some meat
  12. Well had a hell of a time getting it out, but it went back in pretty easily. I did notice the one I pulled out was a "7" and the one I put in was a "L-5". And for filling out got a ump but ended up just using the hose and put an air hose in the ass of the bottle and it was done in no time. Definitely would have been easier if I had someone helping me. But thank you everyone for your advice and such
